CuiZen CPM-4040 Tabletop Popcorn Popper, 4 Ounce, Red

I really wanted to love this popcorn machine. I bought it in April, so I’ve been able to use it many times. What I have found is that it is very difficult to clean. It’s not hard to take apart, it’s that the parts never come clean no matter how much I scrub them. The metal lid, after sitting in hot soapy water and then scrubbed with more soap is still greasy. I’ve also used white vinegar on a wet cloth to clean the inside walls and floor to cut the “popcorn smell” and it still smells afterwards.I can’t use the flavacol popcorn salt mixed into the kernels because all it does is get coated in the oil and then it gets all up in the stirring rod mechanism. The same goes for butter flavored coconut oil.If you like dry, flavorless popcorn that you have to pour lots of butter flavored oil on it just to get some taste out of it then this machine is for you.I’m very disappointed in this machine.

We’ve had this popcorn machine for about 3 months now, and we still love it! All you have to do to clean it is wipe down with a hot rag. Kernels and stuff sometimes get stuck under the little price that turns, but no big deal. Just take a toothpick to it once it cools. Makes about a bag and a half at a time, so it’s good for about 4 little buckets. Oh and if you’re wondering about how to make the perfect popcorn....buy the oil, salt and kernels separately! I bought this for my wife's birthday to replace her old popcorn machine that had a 2.5 oz. kettle. This one, of course, makes a much larger batch and it's very easy to use. Cleanup is a snap with the swing down kettle design and the screen at the bottom to catch any "old maids". The magnet for holding the lid above the kettle is a great touch for filling the kettle, as well as during cleanup time.The popper needs minimal assembly, I had it going in about 10 minutes. Assembly and use instructions are simple and easy to follow. A nice midsized kettle popper for a reasonable price.My wife LOVES the popcorn it makes and finds it easy to use and care for. I highly recommend it!

Used this product for marketing purposes at a store and it is great. Perfectly cooks every kernel and it is easy to clean for the most part.

Great and the kids love it

I bought this machine under the impression that it makes UP TO 6 quarts of popcorn (4oz machine, that's 24 cups) - I was hoping for at least 20oz so this met my needs, or so I thought. This was not true, maybe my machine was defective but we were never able to pop more than 10 cups at a time. I searched the internet high and low for a reason my machine was not outputting a better amount, I even used a different measuring cup (4oz is 1/2 cup) and it was a miss. I even grabbed my huge 4 cup measuring cup to count how much popcorn came out and that's how I got 10 cups.
