Excellent ingredients - but NOT burpless
I've tried many brands of omega-3 fish oil over the years - searching for something that contained enough EPA and DHA – but without causing the yucky fish burps. I even tried “enteric-coated” omega-3 supplements - hoping they would release in my intestines rather than in my stomach – and I’ve always taken fish oil with bland food as recommended. Nope. Still got the fish burps. Not a pleasant experience.I hoped this brand would be different after reading the reviews, but it affects me just like every other fish oil supplement I’ve tried. Almost immediately after swallowing them, I start burping them up and can “taste” fish oil for at least an hour. Ewwww.Having said that, I now realize that’s just the way it is for me. I have problems with acid reflux (but only when I eat refined sugar), so maybe you won’t experience the fish burps if you don’t have stomach and esophageal issues like I do. I also have a VERY keen sense of smell – always have – so that may affect my sensitivity to the lingering fishy “taste.”Bottom line is I’ll just have to tough out the fish burps. Omega-3 supplements are a valuable part of my health regimen – not to mention they help me focus. I’ll buy this brand again for the high quality ingredients, but I sure wish good health didn’t have to taste so bad sometimes. :)

Great Quality, Price, and Customer Service
I’ve been taking Omega-3 fish oil pills for a long time, but for me, the ones I was taking just didn’t feel like they were having much effect. You see, I had bought a massive bottle of fish oil capsules from Wal-Mart under the incorrect assumption that just about all fish oil was the same. After months of feeling little benefit and doing some research on the web, I found out how wrong I was – there’s a massive gap in fish oil qualities, and I had unwittingly bought into the low-end.So naturally it was time for me to find some fish oil that works. After cruising through the Amazon listings, I ultimately decided to go with Nutrivato’s fish oil capsules. I’m VERY glad that I did.I got my package and started taking two pills a day at breakfast. After a week of this, the difference between the old fish oil I was taking and this new stuff was night and day.To start, I do a lot of research and writing for a living, so being mentally sharp is a must in my position. Distractions are easy to come by, and without the right mental fortitude I can unconsciously start creating distractions out of boredom or outright lack of focus. The point is that after taking these fish oil pills I had a gradual increase in mental clarity and focus. Thinking and absorbing information feels easier, more natural, and remembering certain things (especially work related, what with all the research I have to do) feels less “strained”, I suppose I could call it.There were other benefits as well. I find that I don’t get worn out as quickly throughout my day, that fatigue – writing or otherwise – doesn’t really make itself known like it used to. Since I end up staring at a computer screen most of the day my eyes normally start to ache, but after just a week of taking this Omega-3 fish oil I notice that this is occurring far less frequently as well. To me this was unexpected and I wondered if it was something else, because I didn’t suppose that fish oil would have some special benefit for my eyes. After doing some research I found out that our eyes largely consist of Omega-3 fats, and that the Omega-3 fats in fish oil can benefit our eyes as a result. Pretty neat stuff, and a great unexpected benefit!I started to wonder though, why wasn’t I getting these benefits with my old fish oil? It turns out that there are certain things like DHA, EPA, and other things in higher quality fish oil that my old fish oil just lacked. I didn’t know it mattered, I just thought one fish oil is as good as another, but my results speak for themselves. From what I’ve read, fish oil can have positive effects for weight and such, but I can’t vouch for this. I’m pretty fit and generally healthy, so I don’t have any joint pain or health conditions. Even so, I feel more alert, more focused and on task, less prone to fatiguing, and my eyes don’t burn from staring at my screen for too long (though I should probably make it a point to get out from in front of the computer more often anyway).I’ve had a great experience with Nutrivato’s fish oil, and I highly recommend it to anybody who’s just starting to take Omega-3 fish oil, or who (like me) bought a bottle of cheap capsules that delivered far less than expected. As a final note, I received an email from someone at the Nutrivato company who thanked me for my order and gave me a little advice. He said to take the fish oil capsules with a meal to increase absorption from 200% to 800% so I could get the most out of my purchase. Good to know, and just a bit of advice for you if you’re planning on getting a bottle for yourself.

Seems like a great product, but too hard to digest for me.
I am confident this is a good quality fish oil. However I am not able to evaluate its health benefits, as I only took it for a few days. Despite being "odor free, no after taste" this oil is not agreeing with my stomach. I followed recommendation to take it with a (preferably fatty) meal. I tried taking it in the morning. I tried taking it at night. I tried freezing the capsules (which worked well for me in the past when I had that issue with some other brands). Nothing worked. These gelcaps made me burp "fish oil/lemon/rosemary", from 5 mn after ingesting them to a couple of hours later... (I was taking 2 caps). I gave up after a few days and am going back to flax seeds. Really disappointed it didn't agree with me, since the ratio EPA/DHA of this oil is quite good and it seems like a well screened product (I am wary of heavy metals in fish oil). The company is really behind its product, I got an e-mail from them asking if I received it alright, giving me recommendations and asking for feedback. I'll reply to that e-mail and share my experience with them.ETA: I did e-mail the company, but I didn't even need to because they e-mailed me right after seeing my review, to offer me a full refund, and give me advice on finding a product better suited to my particular issue. Now that's what I call outstanding customer service (and on a Friday night no less! ;-)). It's a rare thing these days! Thank you Nutrivato. :-)
