**Q: Will this work in a Daisy slide bolt air rifle - the pellet is not loaded via an open barrel end**
A: Absolutely.  I have an 880.  After reading these answers I decided not to get this, but then decided what the hey, its only 10 bucks.  No, it will not drop the pellet right in the barrel like it does for a break barrel, but it will put the pellet right in the breach facing in the right direction.  Where it took me 20 + seconds to load a pellet, it now takes less than 2.  Worth it to me.

**Q: How far does it shoot?**
A: It does not shoot anything it picks up pellets.

**Q: will this work on a crosman 2240**
A: Yes this could work on a crossman 2240 but not in the same way as it would work on a break barrel airgun. I use it to load pellets in my Crossman P1322 American Classic which has a similar loading mechanism as the 2240. If you love to walk around looking for targets to shoot or to hunt with your air pistol, a pellet pen is very handy to have.  It is more convenient to reach for a pellet pen from your pocket, drop a pellet into your breach than to pull out your tin of pellets, open it, pick up a pellet with your fingers then drop it into their breach. And if your wearing gloves...!!! Well I believe i'very made my point. I hope this answer to your question helps. Happy shooting.

**Q: What is it specifically? What does it do?**
A: Remove black slider, insert 20 pellets pointed end first into top of pen, they will slide down to black rubberized base.  Place black base (pen tip) over barrel opening to load pellet, move the slider toward the black tip to eject single pellet into your barrel loading opening to load one pellet into the barrel.   Purpose: fast, clean reloads on single shot breaker barrel airguns.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Easy to lose or break

It's OK, it's not great. It really, really needs a pocket clip to keep it from falling on the ground and getting lost. I put one on it with an old Mini-Mag clip and some rubber spacer to hold the clip on firmly. Until I did that I had to backtrack my steps and hunt for it a couple times. Mine cracked at the end where you put the pellets in but it's still usable. So not a very high quality plastic. It doesn't seat the pellets uniformly, accurately or deeply every time. Even after a few hundred pellets run through it so I've had plenty of practice. I have to use a separate tool (that I made) for getting a consistent, uniform pellet seating in the barrel chamber. It's not all that easy to use but still a lot better than digging around in a tin of pellets out in the field to pull out a single. I never bother with it when bench shooting and just dig single pellets out of the tin. This is easier and faster on the shooting bench. I only use it when walking around with my air rifle. It's good for that and a little faster to get loaded. It works better for carrying pellets and keeping them clean and undamaged when going afield than as an actual loader. I think it's a bit overpriced for a piece of plastic with no pocket clip. Not a high grade of material, won't seat pellets properly and reliably every time, I don't regret buying it but if it breaks or is lost I doubt I'll buy another to replace it. If they molded a pocket clip on it and made it out of a better grade of plastic and charged a couple bucks more then I'd probably buy one.
