Did a ton of research, this was my fav. Sounds big and loud and perfect for bachata. I actually like the rake too. Needs muffling inside but other than that sounds killer

The actual guira is decent for the money, and it is also a shaker inside (which I wasn't expecting based on the description), which is actually kind of cool, since it adds an extra layer and usage, but if you want a traditional guira I would recommend spending the extra $ and getting an LP one. Also, the tines started coming out of the scraper after a few days playing, and I had to tape them back on, which kind of worked. I ended up getting a few LP scrapers and that worked a lot better.

Great sound. Good value.Perfect for cumbia, cha cha...I’ll glued a small magnet to the rake and store it inside the guiro.

El mango o agarrador es muy grueso cansa mucho la mano y si no se coloca la mano alrededor del tambor el sonido es muy hueco para que se oiga bien hay que rodear la mano alrededor y cuesta meterle la mano ya que el mano es muy ancho cuesta meter la mano y duele despues de un rato cansa
