Lipton Recipe Secrets Savory Herb with Garlic Soup & Dip Mix - 2.4 oz - 12 pk

This stuff is the BEST! I only wish I could find it in my local stores. I was so disappointed when for a long while I couldn't find it anywhere. I am so thankful that I was able to find it at least on-line and that it (fingers crossed) isn't discontinued - yet. I have used this for years for making dips with sour cream and have always gotten great compliments and wanting to know my "secret"! Always a big hit at all my parties!

I love this stuff. I make a lot of soup, and this is my standard base to start with.

So far I have only used this on beef and pork roasts. I put a roast (~3 lbs.) in the crock pot. Then I add about a cup (8 oz.) of water. Then add sliced onions, sweet peppers and mushroom to your liking. Sprinkle a packet of this over the top, cover, turn on the pot, and about 4 hours later, you have a main dish that a chef would be proud of. (I make my potatoes in a separate pan in the oven, as I eat a much larger portion of potatoes than most people!) And the au jus is great on potatoes!

We can't get this in our stores in eastern Shore MD. anymore for some reason. We use it for a marinate for chicken.

I use this seasoning in recipes alot. Delicious and fast!

I love this stuff. I use it in everything. I am not sure why it became so difficult to get in the stores but I am glad it is here. We use it in meatloaf, meat balls, soup, chicken toppings, add to spaghetti sauce and burgers.
