Switchcraft 3-Way Short Toggle Switch w/ Genuine Switchcraft White Tip

This is the second Switchcraft 3-way short toggle I bought in the last month for a single guitar project. We thought the first was defective until the second one had the same problem. I discovered that the center metal tangs are so thin now, that they are very easily deformed. And because they come uncased without any protection, the slightest pressure will bend them out of shape. Both switches came in a bubblewrap envelope, so I can only figure that perhaps they were compressed in transit. And that was enough to deform the contacts to the point they wouldn't work. I can't be sure that my simple handling them while installing in the guitar didn't cause the damage, so I wouldn't want to send them back. They're that flimsy. Buyer beware - see attached photo.

Installed on ‘62 fender duo-sonic… fits perfect, but the quality feels like a $.17 cent dollar store clearance bin find.There is no snappy spring tension & it binds in the middle position on random occasions. I’ve checked the spacing from the routing cavity & the switch (seems fine)… but, it still does same on an uninstalled pickguard.

Like others, my Fender Duo-Sonic neck pickup would intermittently cut out, had to cycle the switch a couple times. Got tired of that. This Switchcraft switch fits great. The 2 output terminals are on the opposite side, but have no clearance issues. I would have preferred a chrome tip, but the white tip matches my pickguard. The old tip is metric, the new one I believe to be 8-32 thread. The switch functions great, no problems.

Nice switch, I used two of these in a recent guitar project and they work great!! Nice quality, nice feel. The first one is to select the pickup, second one is an output kill switch!!!

Except that if your Paulie has a decent cap, the long frame switch is the correct artifact.

Smooth switching no issues at all. No wonder it is one the favorites out there

Exactly what I ordered. This switch is considered by many to be better than the original Gibson switch. I found mine fairly simple to install and there were numerous YouTube videos. My guitar is in working order again.
