Templar Lite
I enjoyed previous entries in this series (although not "Red Templar"), but this one was just flat, stale, dull and unprofitable to read. No Templars. Well, about three paragraphs, none of them integral to the plot. Lots and lots of typos (shame on you!). Lots and lots of bad Spanish and Latin (more shame!). Lots and lots and LOTS of stuff about Blackhawk (who cares?), the Castro family (ditto) and the most improbable plot ever. I like the characters from previous encounters, so I was really cross that they were so cardboard and boring in this one. Too many plots to keep track of, too many villains spoiled the broth. Too many disgusting descriptions of disgusting things (which started in "Red Templar" and which I find really revolting). Hopefully the next book will see the series back on track.

Good story - Distracting dialogue
The story was pretty decent. For the most part the story and the writing flowed very well. My only real criticism is the character of Eddie, a Cuban. The author's need to let everybody know that he speaks Spanish and keeps writing it into Eddie's dialogue is extremely distracting. OK, we get it - you speak Spanish - move on. It doesn't make the character any more realistic. It's just annoying.

Interesting
Hard to get into at first, Moves around a lot, Difficult to pick back up to read. But worth reading until the end.

Would have been better in English
Paul Christopher has this thing about putting foreign language into his text which I would suspect a very small number of readers understands. I for one don't like it and therefore didn't give the book a very good rating! The story was also flawed at times and not really up to the previous novels Christopher has written! He needs a rest to come up with some new material or friends who will tell him the story is lame! I will give him one more chance!

BAD BAD BAD
This is by far and away the worst book of the Templar series....No Templars with the added bonus of the author calling the characters one name on one page and a different name on another. The book reads like it was written because the author was going to miss his deadline. Save your money.......

Excellent series.
Christopher does a good job weaving a tale of adventure and intrigue. I would highly recommend the entire Templar series. However, make sure you read them in the order they were written.

not the best in the series
This is the 7th book in a series that I have enjoyed however the Mention of the Templar's in the tittle was about as far as the author took the reader into this world. He seems to have become more of a serial writer than an author with this book.just when an interesting thread starts it seems to end or is not picked up upon. The book runs out of steam towards the end and ends quite abruptly without leaving the reader wanting more. Each book made me pre-order the next this is not the case after this book. Please more effort on the next or I will feel the need to read elsewhere

An excellent read.
Excellent condition and delivery as promised. An excellent Read best read in sequence through the series but would stand alone.

Cuban intrigue
Doc and Eddie's adventure in Cuba has more international political and religious ramifications than one could imagine.A great read with many of the usual suspects interwoven into a story which has all the adventure and thrills we've come to expect from this excellent series. An unexpected death towards the end of the book was a shock.Roll on January 2014 for the next roller coaster ride!

Good read
Rather too much irrelevant detail

Good story, if a bit wordy
Great plot, with the usual array of believable characters, however I feel if loses its way in the first half of the book, long dialogues on the history of Cuba with far too much detail detrac form the plot, not as much of a gripping page turner as the other books in the series until at least half way through.
