Review: Kid love it - My kid love laying on the bed to do her drawing so I got her this, at least now she have a hard surface to draw on. Got the black so I won’t be able to see all the markers stain. It’s big enough to support my iPad Pro 12.9 too.
Review: Good enough - Does its job as a stand, quite comfortable thanks to the soft underside, but the laptop tends to slide a bit when you move

## Features

- Surface: Even a compact lap desk needs a large enough surface for your computer. The top of the Sidekick is 17 inches wide and 11 inches deep. This is enough space for a 15.6-inch laptop. The surface is sturdy and flat to allow for adequate airflow and ventilation for your computer.
- Cushion: The Sidekick's cushion is filled with microbeads and covered with a durable fabric. It holds its position on your lap or on a table, keeping your work surface steady. The cushion is soft and creates a comfortable workspace wherever you decide to sit.
- Features: The lap desk has added features for extra functionality. The top of the solid surface has an integrated non-slip silicone bar to keep your devices in place. A built-in device ledge offers an extra measure of security. A 6.5-inch phone slot holds most smartphones horizontally. It can also be used for notecards, external computer accessories, or even a snack.
- Compact and Portable: You can take your Sidekick Lap Desk with you anywhere. Weighing just 1.14 pounds, it’s easy to pick up and take to class, to the office, or on a trip. The surface is large enough for your computer but small enough to be used in tight spaces like plane seats. The built-in carry handle makes it easy to tote with you and hang on a hook for storage.
- Versatile: You don’t always have to use your LapGear Sidekick for your computer, or to work. It’s also great for taking notes, writing in your journal, or reading a book. Watch a movie, shop online, or chat with friends in the most comfortable seat in the house. Your lap desk goes where you go and provides a flat surface for any project.

## Questions & Answers

**Q: What is the pad on the bottom filled with? What type of fabric covers the pad? Is the padding adequate and comfortable?**
A: Filled with tiny Styrofoam bubbles. It is real lightweight because of this. Material is 100% polyester which you would spot treat. It looks like the type of material they would use to line a gym bag.

**Q: Will this prevent lap burn?**
A: My laptop gets very warm when charging. The LapGear lap desk fully insulates me from that heat. I can't feel the heat at all thanks to the cushion on the bottom of the desk. It's filled with foam beads. The insulating cushion helps me position the desk as I choose and does not make my legs feel hot either.

**Q: What is the distance between the upper & lower non-slip bars?**
A: 8 inch

**Q: Where was it made? China, US?**
A: Our products are designed and quality tested by our team here in Texas and made in China.

Produto perfeito para o dia a dia. A base é de uma espuma, quase lembra um travesseiro. A mesa é de material rígido e bem durável.
