Great Book and the Only Current Resource
This is a very well written basic textbook for the latest version of Fusion 360. A complete novice can easily follow this book from start to finish and gain a thorough knowledge of Fusion 360 and part modeling. Even more amazing is, at this time, this is the only current documentation/instruction/resource available on the latest version Fusion 360. Autodesk did a major update to the software in 2018-19 but they failed to produce updated documentation and tutorials. They just made a woefully inadequate five minute video highlighting some of the changes. All of the other books and tutorials out there did the same - they just slapped a quick summary onto their old material. Props to the creators of this book for making a new course based entirely on the latest version.Note: As one reviewer stated, the book I received is not in color. Still, it is easy to follow, very thorough and the only training available for this version. The only suggestion I would have to make this better would be to have a solution to each exercise available somewhere. Even a completed drawing that the reader could pick apart and see if they are on the right track would be very helpful. As the exercises get more difficult, even if I figured out how to do them, I sometimes suspected there was a better way.

Great refresher, or introduction for beginners/hobbyists
On top of providing tons of free tutorials and tips on their youtube channel, Fusion 360's tutorial books are the most reasonably priced for what you get out of them. I picked this up just to further what I'd learned in a CAD class, and see if there's anything we skipped over. It provides a good introductory explanation of the workspace, and provides several easy to work through examples to get you comfortable enough to do basic designs on your own.My only complaint is that I wish it included an intro to surface modeling and sculpting as well. There are shapes you can create using those methods that you can't using just the "Solid" design section and it would've saved me hours of frustration knowing that!

Current, good, inexpensive
I'm not familiar with the publisher, but these books are a great deal. I get the impression that the books are updated frequently. Mine was very current with the version of Fusion 360 that I had. I've certainly gotten far more than my money's worth in time saved. I still prefer books to videos for certain things since I can quickly flip to the right page. Highly recommended.

Really great Book for beginners!
I had never used Fusion or any other cad program except for tinkercad. I have already bought another copy for my students. The picture, if it is shown, is my first project designed with Fusion with the knowledge from this book. There a very few typos, and only two of the exercises were too difficult to complete. Each chapter has hand-holding examples followed by exercises. If they brought out a "Next-Level" follow-up book, I'd buy it in a minute.

Good book for beginners
Typical of Autodesk training manuals, it gets you up and running. The exercises and illustrations give you the basic info needed to accomplish your primary goal. But the printing of this manual is poor: not in color and most disappointing are the screen shots appear too light making it difficult to see details in the diagrams and illustrations . How did that pass QC?

Excellent Basics Tutorial Book!!!
This is an excellent introduction to Fusion 360 with in-depth explanations. My only complaint is that the images of the icons, screens, and menus are a bit light...could be darker and easier to see.

Drawings difficult to see!
I am a retired person with better than average eyesight for my age, I do not yet use reading glasses. And I have ZERO CAD experience. I found the drawings to be very difficult to see in this book. I could read the written print but the example drawings left me trying to use extra light and generic reading glasses to see, which then had to be remove to see my computer screen. I'm afraid I will have to find a book with more contrast to help my older eyes.
