Review: Great - The book was great, the cover , quality is nice. I got bookmark along with it. I enjoyed reading the book. Review: Truly, A book to read before you Die - Firstly, I was drawn towards this book from another person who quoted this book in his Autobiography. (Wings of Fire, APJ Abdul Kalam) This book has truly drawn my attention towards various aspects of life and I really enjoyed reading the poetry. So much wisdom and teaching for such a low price !! This book definitely has something to offer to everyone from all walks of life. Whether you are a Housewife or a Businessman or a student, this book has something for you. I personally had this little talk in my mind over every philosophy mentioned in the book. All of it truly convinces my mind, except one. For all the reasons I tried to think and debate with myself, I do not agree with the Author's opinion on Crime and Punishment. The author says that the oppressed is not innocent from the crimes of guilty. Victim is not innocent of the crimes of oppressor. Here is my take on this, you leave your keys in the car is not an invitation for a thief to steal it. Except for this one chapter, which I do not endorse. Rest of the philosophy is completely genuine and practical and I definitely recommend you to read this book atleast thrice to get the real feel of it. I come back to this book and read specific chapters whenever I am having some issues with that aspect of my life. I encourage you to do the same. Hope my review and opinion helps. Cheers !!

Nice Read
This novel, "The Prophet" by Kahlil Gibran, contains 28 poetic essays with 12 illustrations drawn by the author himself. This book took more than 11 years to be formulated and perfected and is known as Gibran's best work to date. The author simply touched on the depths of many topics that we can relate to very easily right from birth to death. His knowledge and understanding of life and its surroundings are great, which he penned down captivatingly and vivified with feelings.

No words to describe.
I'll first talk about the material and then about the product (edition). Material. I have this practice when i'm reading a book i underline those great and catchy phrases and sentences.Trust me I didn't underline a single word in this book. Not because nothing was great, but because everything was great. Each and every word Phrase, and sentence is handpicked and the whole prose is fine crafted to perfection. This is gonna touch your heart, that too very deep and will make you think for hours maybe even days. One of the greatest piece of spiritual fiction and prose poetry ever written. The true master piece from kahlil Gibran. That's all about the material. Product. Coming to this very product ,this is the greatest edition a work like this can afford at this rate. This material truly deserve a presentation like this. The book cover and the whole presentation itself is a piece of true art. Also 16 paintings of Khalil Gibran has been reproduced from the original book which is also great and thought provoking. The ideal piece for collection and gifting. Truely worth the price...

A must have book for every stage of life
"Much of your pain is self chosen." When reality sounds beautiful. I am the one mesmerized here like it's the first ever book I have read in my life. . . . If there's one book I have to read combined all the philosophical, self-help, and whatever there is to give the best of how life should be then I must say this is the one. I really do not understand what happened the first few times I picked up this book during these past few years trying to read it but not feeling the words when I did. But today happened to be the day the book took hold of me and said what it had to. And like a fleeting wisp of life, I felt understood. "A seeker of silences am I, and what treasure have I found in silences that I may dispense with confidence?" This little book speaks too much truth that if I happened to read it on a day I needed to be rescued I would have cried like I was dying relieved that I was saved. It talks about loneliness and solitude yet it does not glorify them. It explains about love in terms of what we would have felt about hate but it's the reality of it. It further talks about marriage, children, about giving and receiving, and much about everything else. Just read this book today. Actually I am speechless.

Wonderful book in an average read quality!
The book is a beautiful enlightenment of various aspects of life . Highly recommended for some sagacious reading . However the book is a little bent on the corners and idk why I think it is a duplicate edition . The delivery got delayed too. Ergo a good book to read but in average quality.

"It reads like a divine revelation"
He descends, he lives, and he lives forever. We ascend, we live and we live forever. This book is a miracle.

I often recommend it as a gift for young people
Among one of the persecuted religions, there's one known as Bahai. They have been pushed away from countries like Iran and Egypt, and as often happens they found a shelter in India. The famous Lotus Temple in Delhi is a Bahai Temple. Well-known philosopher and poet Khalil Gibran was a follower of Bahai religion. He wrote the world famous book The Prophet probably under influences of Sufi traditions. This book seldom needs an introduction. It is a fusion of Eastern and Western mysticism, which was first published in 1923. Since then it has been a bestseller selling more than 9 million copies in over 40 different languages. This classic work is a collection of twenty-six inspiration prose poems, presented as sermons delivered by a sage who is returning to his homeland. The book is in public domain and out of copyright in many countries. It's movie adaptations and audio books are also freely available. The subjects covered include love, marriage, children, giving, eating and drinking, work, joy and sorrow, houses, clothes, buying and selling, crime and punishment, laws, freedom, reason and passion, pain, self-knowledge, teaching, friendship, talking, time, good and evil, prayer, pleasure, beauty, religion, and death. This is a must read on my list and I often recommend it as a gift for young people.

Great book, cheap paper quality
The pages quality is very thin and cheap, and they are stuck together. This is a great book, but a very bad deluxe print edition.

Review of The Prophet by Khalil Gibran
I just finished reading The Prophet, and I’m genuinely moved by how beautifully it has withstood the test of time. Gibran’s words feel as relevant and soul-stirring today as they must have when they were first written. Every page is a quiet meditation on life, love, pain, and purpose, written with such simplicity yet carrying such much needed profound truth. There’s something timeless and universal in the way he captures the human condition. I found myself pausing often, rereading lines that spoke directly to my spirit. It’s the kind of book that doesn’t just ask to be read, but to be felt. The Prophet is more than poetry or philosophy, it’s wisdom distilled into art. It’s the kind of book you keep close, to revisit in different seasons of your life, always discovering new meaning. For me, it’s a masterpiece that continues to illuminate the path between humanity and divinity.
