A Raver
This is the second album I ever bought (first was the Dave Clark 5's Coast to Coast), and when you consider it It really is more of a blues album than a rock album I think it stands the test of time. I teach high school and played Blue Feeling at one of my kids dances and the LIKED IT! Alan Price especially stands out instrumentally with some of his best playing ever on any recording. Eric is of course, Eric. Johnny Steele rocks it, as do Chas and Hilton(especially on Im Mad Again). One for the ages. My copy is autographed by all five and is one of my most treasured possessions.

The Group's Long-Player Debut -- And a Killer Album
This is a sizzling debut long-player for this band who -- at the time -- were outselling their rivals the Rolling Stones. Their debut hit "House of the Rising Sun should dominate, even in its shortened three-minute edit, but the band does so well by their covers of numbers associated with Chuck Berry, Fats Domino, Ray Charles, John Lee Hooker etc. that the whole album boils and surges, and in a way that its UK counterpart (released a month later) doesn't quite match. A great way to start collecting the best of the hardest side of the British invasion.
