This is the live version, but also includes bonus tracks with studio too,very impressed with delivery and condition .What more can be said !!!

I'm quite glad that I ordered this, because not only do I get the video for Northern Star, a truely beautiful song in every respect, but I also the FULL non-faded-out version of Northern Star, and best of all, the wonderful song "Follow Me", which only pops up elsewhere on the Japanese version of the album. It's worth the whole single, and even though some people might think that if she put it on the U.S album, there would be too many ballads, I think it's a shame it got left off. I love long and dreamy sort of hypnotizing songs which get you very invovlved, and this wonderful gem of a song will certainly get you thinking. I love the title and lyrics and haunting melody, and I certainly think you will love them too, as well as the video for "Northern Star", (though unfortunately, it was made from the sadly shortened radio-edit.) BUY THIS SINGLE AND LISTEN AND BE MESMERIZED!

Alright. So Melanie C is said to be the talent of the Spice girls... While this may be partially true, this single gives her props. "Northern Star" (Single Version) is slimmed down a wee bit too much from the Album or Full* version. Still, it is a nice Christmassy track. It's a ballad, but more like "Goodbye" with drums and percussion. "Northern Star" Acoustic Version is umm...acoustic, which is ok. It comes across as lacking a vibe of any sort, but is cool to listen to on headphones. You know what they say: save the best for last, and I have definitely done that. "Something's Gonna Happen" is probably the best upbeat pop/rock song I've EVER heard. Seriously. Just listen to her voice when she belts "Find a way to find me" and when she basically creates a new song when singing "Soul believer..." This song is truly a work of art and could have taken the place of a number of songs on the "Northern Star LP (Be the One, Suddenly Monday, If That Were Me). Seriously consider adding this item to your Christmas list, BECAUSE IT ROCKS. Oh and it comes with four postcards and it's Limited Edition, keep it in mint condition! * available on Northern Star #1

Showing yet again that Melanie C has amazing musical talent. Melanie had opted for a ballad this time and like the rock hit before (going Down) she does it in style. The lyrics are perfect the music is what you want and the whole feel of the song has hit written all over it. (check out the album Northern Star and you wont be dissapointed)

What a soft ballad with wonderful wonderful lyrics. She shows so much feelings. She can really do without the girlgroup.The single contains the Radio version, the Bonustrack "Follow me" (also a ballad but not SO good) and the Full-version of Northern star.

Those people who lack this cd is because they don't even try to listen or just judge her or the cover. This CD is really amazing and brashly honest this is the geartest CD I had ever had. The songs are great, especially NOTHERNSTAR, and she even writes her own songs. The worst thing about this CD is where and how they edit the lyrics on the book, and the song WHY.
