Super light and bright!
Everyone loves these! When I take these out on a camping or backpacking trip, everyone asks about it. The light lasts a really long time and its really bright espeically when hung. Its great because I dont need to use my headlamp unless I'm walking aroundIts 3 oz but its solar and saves the AAA batteries in your headlamp, so its a win in my book.I didn't realize this at first, but if you squeeze the sides of the plug (where it says "squeeze here") while you pull the top and bottom apart it wil inflate the light about 85%. then you only need to blow a little bit to inflate it all the way.

Tons of use, no problems.
I originally purchased this light for backpacking trips, and let me say that it is fantastic. It has replaced the led lantern that I had been using, and I have saved about 14 oz on pack weight, without having to sacrifice anything other than the ability to change out batteries. Which is alright, as long as there is a decently sunny day once the charge runs out. It seems to charge at about a rate of 1 hour of sunlight to 1 hour of use, maybe slightly quicker on nice bright, clear days, so not bad at all. So to ensure I have light no matter what, I bring two of these and rotate use throughout the trip.Only really minor drawback is that it can be kind of a pain to inflate, in that getting the valve popped out and opened up is pretty hard on a cold day, but I guess this is to be expected with any kind of inflatable object made of this material.Overall, I liked this product so much that when I saw these at Lowes on clearance I bought 4 more - I use 2 when I go backpacking, have 2 for my regular camping equipment, 1 in my truck and 1 with my kayaking gear. Haven't had any problems after tons of abuse.

I can so no bad things about this little light
I can so no bad things about this little light. I have been looking at it for over a year to use when I go on backpacking trips. it is very light weight so not much weight added for the ability to have light in under the rain fly of my hammock set up. solar panel works very well to keep its battery charged and it will hold its charge for months if need be. It has been durable as it has been dropped on gravel, hit with brush as it hangs off my backpack when hiking and no signs of any damage.if you want I light weight lantern for camping, backpacking or in a power outage this is the light to have.will be ordering more of them for other family members to have their own and stop stealing mine.

Great small light for camping
These lights are awesome! I purchase two to bring on a float trip this summer and they worked out great. One of my favorite things is that it tells you how much charge it has. So you never have to wonder if it's gotten enough sunlight to charge fully. I haven't gotten to test how long the lights work, but I've used them for a few hours with no issues. They are great for camping or travel. they deflate very thin and are small. They can easily be throw into a bag without taking up much space. I was also impressed about how bright they were and give a good lamination at a campsite. Or even in a tent. I used one in my tent at night which worked wonderful. It's not too bright for the small space in a tent. Also great that they are water proof. Not something I tested on my trip but I felt secure knowing I didn't have to worry about them if anything did happen. I will definitely be getting good use out of these!

Handy as the Pocket on a Shirt
We live in the country, where the electricity sometimes goes off in windstorms. This little light is far superior to candles and flashlights. I really wish this gizmo had been around during my backpacking days. It would have been perfect for reading in the tent or to accompany late-night cat hole-scratching in the woods - plenty of light but it weighs practically nothing. The only problem is that it doesn't charge well indoors, even in a window - it takes forever. Once the weather clears, it takes just a few hours of direct sunlight outside to fully charge it, after which it shines for hours and hours. During spring, summer and autumn power outages, we curse, turn on the Luci, and keep on reading.

Whats not to like?
Purchased one and gradually purchased 5 more. Love that it uses a renewable energy source, that its compact and super lightweight. These stay with our camping gear (we rarely take a gas lantern anymore) and I like to keep one in my truck for emergencies (we live out in the country so city lights aren't everywhere we go). Have had most for about a year now and have had no issues. In our personal experience they have lasted up to 8 hours (charged fully on a bright clear day) *we have not tried pushing beyond 8hrs yet.~For summertime we just throw them on the dashboard to charge or when hiking clipping via a carabiner to the outside of our packs.~I make sure these are fully charged before storing them away so we can (and have) pulled them out during winter storms when the power goes out.~Have even used them for night fishing *in conjunction with one gas lantern, just strung them on some paranoid with an adjustable necklace knot.)Can't remember what the directions for these things are but we found pinching the nozzle and stretching upwards is an easy way to inflate so you don't get a bunch of condensation from your breath inside. None have punctured thus far, though I doubt that would cause much, if any issue.I just wish they made a mini string of these like x-mas lights so I can have some festive lighting inside my hammock or tent.

Now reliable
Nice when it works. Not reliable. Sometimes holds a charge, sometimes does not. It has worked well 2 out of the 5 times I have tried to use it. Stayed lit for less than an hour another couple of times. Charged it today all day in the sun. When I tried the on switch it made a popping noise but did not light.+++++++++++UPDATE- Giving this more stars. After a battering by grandchildren, it became much more compliant. Works great, holds a charge a good long time. I have purchased a second one, I now like it so much.

Very useful and convenient
A very useful thing to have camping. I've tested it out and it works fine, but the real test is how long it will work before the solar panels stop working...

Not useed in the field yet but seem to charge well and the lights are bright. The straps do not seem very sturdy but time will tell.

Beste Campingtischleuchte...
...ever.

Luci light
This is one of the most useful things I have ever bought! It is easy to use and provides excellent lighting in a tent, on the patio or in the house when the electricity has gone out. I have bought some for friends after they saw mine and said they would like one. They have been as happy with it as myself.

Tolle Campinglampe

Bright and no worries about breakage.
used it in the tent every night for 9 nights - it lasted without turning it solar side up in any light during the trip. Used it for an hour one evening on the flash mode to show our late evening canoers where our campsite was to return to! No worries about it falling and breaking on the rocks or falling in the lake lol Bonus is that I can deflate it for storage in the trailer.

Mi accompagna da anni
Pesa talmente poco che tenerla sempre attaccata allo zaino è diventata un'abitudine. Campeggio, escursione e mille altre occasioni per usarla, mi è tornata utile una marea di volte e l'ho consigliata anche di più!

Mine must have been a dud
Super disappointed in the Luci light! Fun design but mine only worked once before it wouldn't turn on. I have 2 d.lights that I use often during power outages (even just turn one on in the hall when I go to bed during a storm so my daughter who is scared of the dark doesn't wake up in pitch black if the power goes out) and I love them. I thought the luci would be better for packing down for hiking/camping but I got a dud. :( Still love the solar but wouldn't by another luci.

Love solar products
Arrived quickly, easy to use. Bought for emergency power outages. Didnt last long, and would not recharge.

Fun gimmick, but not necessary.
Only lasted one season, twelve nights total, before breaking. It no longer inflates. it is a bit clunky and hard to direct the light to where you need. Light is not bright enough, so you need a couple of them if you plan to use it as a light source.

Easy to use and efficient
Handy, light, and very easy to use. Great for our canoe-camping trip. I do wish the closure on the air valve was a bit more secure/easy to use, but it still works great. I appreciate that even if one day it deflates, I am still left with a solar-powered light, which means less waste and less batteries to purchase.
