After fully charging the tablet after I received it, I booted it up and the screen was displaying some sort of odd geometric pattern and I think it was Chinese language it was displaying. A bit of a surprise. I went on line and found some videos on how to resolve that issue. I can't recall now which particular steps I had to take to resolve that but it was not too difficult.I wish I had paid closer attention to other things though. The screen is heavily scratched up and I never noticed it. Where you plug your charging cord into the tablet is worn and does not hold the plug well so the plug falls out of the tablet constantly. The tablet refuses to hold it's orientation. I have set it both ways, auto rotate and lock to no use.The good. It does hold it's charge well. It is quick. It does have a nice clear picture on the screen (that is if you over look all the scratching on the screen).If I had not been so preoccupied with other things when this tablet arrived I would probably have sent it back. It's too l;ate now. We'll see how it holds up.Update. It quit working entirely yesterday. Purchased Dec 27 th.

Tablet not connecting to 3g FUNCTIONING SIM card (even tried at 2g knowing it is not supported for phones in USA). Tried both slots..."only emergency calls", "not connecting to network". I've been doing this since phones first started using sim cards, so it's nothing new to me. This 3g SIM card functions in any gsm phone or tablet I have used it in.I strongly suspected this may be a return that was re-boxed as new and now I know why. If there is no response, I am wiping it and returning/exchanging it.The tablet is fine, but I need it for calls, VM, etc., for business. My eyes are bleeding trying to locate a Customer Service contact in the User Manual booklet or even a website. NONE...seriously? Doing a search, there is one page for Tagital with mostly places to buy variations (7". kid's, etc.) and one review from 2015.*Update 01 May 2020: Checked directly with my current GSM Provider and NO...it is NOT compatible. Searched for and checked the IMEI on three (yes, 3) other GSM providers and it is NOT compatible! Contacted support through Amazon about issue and still no response. Very frustrated at this point .

I've owned more than one = returns. Screens are VERY thin and will crack easily - the screen protector is a complete joke - buy one of those wallets right away for it if you want to roll the dice. The volume control - up/down and power switch too close together. All it has is a power output and headphone output - the product picture shows something else = TOTALLY misleading. No HDMI. The memory upgrade requires quite a bit of work - not easy like some others. One of the machines I received just stopped working and wouldn't charge after a week-dead screen. The audio is below average, although picture is as good as more expensive ones.If your careful with it (not for kids) and use bluetooth audio source the rest is pretty good for the price on a limited budget. Even then it is not likely to last too long.

PROS: *SCREEN QUALITY ( A+ )-It's clear and sharp such that no need to add backlight unless being used in sunlight.*LANDSCAPE MODE ( A+ ) -Orientation mode is superb and different from most devices because it stays in the same model until it is changed...(it's not automatically rotating that are common)MATERIAL QUALITY ( A ) -Physical outlook and material used is good.*SHIPMENT & PACKAGING ( A+)-Shipping was sharp and I like the packaging... it alived as expected.CONS: *BATTERY LIFE ( B+) -Battery life is moderate for Internet lovers like me but for general use, it's good.****Generally speaking.., it's a decent device...for the price.***

I could not get the 2 "sim" cards to work so I could not make calls and use this for origianl purpose. The Tab that covers the adapter card and sim card panel just will not stay on.

Wow, what a complete disappointment after reading such high reviews. I did a substantial amount of research before making this purchase. The first tablet did not work correctly from the start, Reached out to the seller and did not hear back. I reached out again and did not hear back. Contacted Amazon. They issued a replacement. The second tablet did not work either, but for different reasons. Amazon tried to work with us, but my frustration was just exacerbated by the fact that the seller was MIA and no one could offer assistance. Needless to say, my 16-year-old son was completely disappointed as this was supposed to be his big gift. There was a guitar app that he was so anxious to use on the new tablet, only to find out that he couldn't do ANYTHING on it. DIsappointed in the product, the seller and Amazon to a degree that they would offer a product to be sold by a seller that clearly doesn't care about their customers.

This was a replacement for a 7" tablet that was So SLOoooW. This is much better and worth the price.

it's a good tablet but breaks easily.... I tried to find a case for this tablet but could never find the right case....
