I have been gardening (vegetables) for quite a few years, but this year I decided to add a "medicinal" herb garden to the mix. I did tons of research online for information, but I found I was coming up short on some key planting, growing and caring specifics for herbs. I went through tons of the book descriptions and other reviews and came upon this one. It has a good mix of information on site location, plant care, pest prevention, cultivation, drying, storing and using the herbs. While I know I will need something with more details on how to use my herbs as I progress and want have more elaborate herbal mixture and preparation (there is information in this book, but just the basics), this will more than get me started with planting and caring for my herbs so that I have something to use at the end of the season. I am very excited about my medicinal herb garden. I highly recommend this book if you are dabbling in herbs.
