A lot of the information contained in this book is more or less common sense. I was very much hoping for more technical information on differences between models and model/years and less information along the lines of "make sure the seller has a title".

Nice book, but falls short, tries covering too much in too few pages. Tip of the ice burg info. Very general and common information.

Guide pocket book middle to small size.
Pocket book.. Pay attetion as it is a guide book. Dedicated to 2 valves engines!Very good and actualized information adding nowdays model bikes.

Buyers book but also a good read and reference.
They position this book as a buying guide but it is really a fun read(If you are in to Ducs). Plus it has the MH 900e on the cover which is a plus in my humble opinion.

Managed to make Ducatis a bit boring
Twenty years ago this might have been 'interesting'. Nowadays, you get more useful information from the Web. Too thin, too sparse, too superficial.

A book you don't need
To be honest .... this book you don't want to buy since the remarks are mostly generic and not very model specific.On the brigth side: it was not to expensive (cover picture looks good though).

Disappointing
More of an overview than a detailed account and missed out on some crucial areas if you are thinking of purchasing a Desmodue. Also kept repeating info to pad out the slim content. I'd recommend doing your due diligence via the Ducati owners forums which are far more informative.

Mini manuale SCRITTO DA UN VERO ESPERTO di queste moto.Il formato del libro è la metà di un A4 e a prima vista può sembrare un opuscolo.Ma le foto dei particolari sono dettagliate e le descrizioni sono essenziali, mirate, chiare ed esaustive.Come detto è scritto da un esperto, spiega molti pregi, difetti e modifiche introdotte col susseguirsi delle serie; in poche pagine riesce a guidare sia un possibile nuovo proprietario di queste fantastiche moto sia il collezionista, verso una valutazione della moto per usura e stato di conservazione e per mantenerla in perfetta efficienza.
