Best Green Drinks BOOK Ever!
I absolutely love this book!! I saw it at an IFM Conference on a table with about a hundred other juicing books. I was looking for a simple book with juicing recipes and this one RESONATED with me when I opened it Not only are there fantastic, simple juice recipes (if you have a juicer), but I LOVE that there are recipes for green drinks you can make with a blender (not everyone has a juicer). Blended green drinks is a great place to start. I am a nutritionist and find myself recommending this book regularly. We even added it to our store at Sanoviv Medical Institute. Recipes are simple with ingredients you most likely have or are easy to get. Drinks are fantastic! I like the short information pieces that help readers understand the benefits of certain greens, herbs, and spices. I LOVE this book's simplicity.

great book for beginners
Perfect book for beginners. There's a clear description of everything from the ingredients to the blenders and juicers if you need help. The ingredients are all pretty consistent throughout so you're not going to be out shopping for a lot of hard to find items, substitutions are all over the place which is great. Kale abounds in a lot of the recipes, but since I really dislike kale I'll just use a nice chunk of chard and spinach instead-it's that easy. Pears, cucumbers, celery, romaine lettuce...all really easy to find at your local grocery. There's even some nice mention in the ingredient descriptions about what they all bring to the table and how they contribute to your overall health. Thyroid issues, metabolism boosters, memory boosters...it's simple and informative.

Good book with lots of great recipes. Tried most and they are delicious and easy.

excellent recipes
I loved this book. It teaches you a lot of information but it is also very accessible. The ingredients in the recipes can be found at any store and the smoothies are truly delicious. Be sure to note the disclaimer that the author makes early in the book; all of her recipes imply that you are using a powerful blender. I happened to have one and they work great for me. Not sure that this would be the case with an ordinary blender, though.

Love it! Great way to get more veggies!
This is a great book full of useful information about greens and vegetables and fruits. There are a few green drinks I'm stuck on and really like, but I've recently tried a couple of new ones, and have enjoyed them too. This book is not for the faint of heart - the drinks really are green! But they are so good. Drink a green drink a day for a month (perhaps less) and you will find your body feels like it's missing something when you skip a day. Using the recipes in this book is a great way to pack a bunch of vegetables into one easy cup, too!

Super Awesome, Love It!
This book is really awesome. I've got it, my mom's got it, her friends have got it, and i've given 2 or 3 of them as gifts now. The author puts this in an excellent simple way for people to learn about incorporating healthy ingredients into your blender and into your life. The recipes are also good.Me and my mom are getting ready to do a green drink cleanse and we're going to use this book for most of our recipes. Love this book and highly recommend it! I'd even recommend endeavoring at least 2 recipes a week for breakfast until you've tried a bunch of them.

Great information
This book has some great information on the nutrition of different whole foods and what they do for your body. The recipes are easy to make and point out the different health areas they will help with. It teaches you enough that you can make up your own recipes so if you want to change the flavor a bit you can. Love it and the way my family feels because we are getting the right nutrition our bodies need.

This is an awesome drink book. One of the best I have come across. I have tried a recipe every day. They are delicious.Alot of great info in the forward of the book as well.I Strongly recommended this particular book.

tolle Anregungen für alle, die ihre Ernährung umstellen & auf Smoothies und Säfte stehen
An der grünen Farbe der Getränke darf man sich definitv nicht stören, dann wird man diese tollen Rezepte mit vielen kleinen Tipps und Anregungen lieben. Ich habe mir schon einige markiert die es definitiv in meinen Ernährungsplan schaffen werden. Bis vor kurzem konnte ich mich das morgendliche Smoothie zubereiten nicht wirklich vorstellen, aber da ich umstellen muß finde ich es herrlich, so viele abwechslungsreiche Anregungen zu bekommen. Das motiviert und macht gute Laune, mal ganz abgesehen davon, dass diese drinks wirklich gut tun.
