Sudoku Puzzle Book Volume 1: 200 Puzzles Paperback – October 25, 2012

The shipping service was very good. It arrived when it was supposed to and came in great shape.I have 2 of the 3 books from this publisher and enjoy them very much. There are 3 different books (comes in red, blue, and green for the different volumes. They have 4 different levels: Beginner, Novice, Moderate, and Advance. I like how they start out pretty easy and then progress in difficulty. There is always the solutions at the back of the book (like a crossword puzzle), so that if you get stuck you can check in the back for the solution/correction/hint . It's not a very large book and there are 2 puzzles per page. My book fits in my purse, so it's convenient to take with you to work on. I hope they continue to produce these books. Right now they have 3. I will look for a 4th soon.

Once again, here is another wonderful Sudoku book! Actually, the first in the series! Hours of great puzzle solving from beginners to novice to moderate to advanced puzzles printed on good paper! As usual, shipping was great! Thanks!

I bought two of these Sudoku books as we'll be going on a road trip soon. Everyone in my house loves to play Sudoku, and I like that this book has different levels, ranging from beginner to advanced. My husband and I took one of the books with us on a vacation recently, and while I would use beginner or novice, he was able to play at the moderate/advanced level (he's been playing Sudoku longer than me). The beginner level is super easy, and something I can start teaching my 11 year old how to play. Our teenagers love to play as well, and they play at the novice level. I love how one book can entertain the whole family, and makes for quite road trips. The book is affordable, and I will definitely be looking to purchase other volumes.

Note that people really enjoy these puzzles! But then they can't explain it very well? Can't seem to grasp this easy situation? Here is your answer! Chapters arranged by degree of progress. Explanations and diagrams are very effective.A fun alternative from word puzzles as it stimulates different parts of the brain. Have fun!

These puzzles are a bit different from the other books of Sudoku I've gone through in the past. While the first two levels are sort of entertainingly different, the more advanced ones are more difficult. Perhaps it would be good for someone better at it than me, but I felt the ratings of difficulty were way out of line with all the other Sudoku I've done. I'm not great, but usually moderate ones are easy for me. I've been doing these for years, sometimes on a daily basis, so I feel I have a fairly good idea of the levels, and these were not rated correctly.

Wonderful sudoku book - my 10 year old daughter is working her way through it. It starts with easy puzzles and gradually moves to advanced - so there is a variety of difficulty levels in this book. If you love Sudoku, you'll love this!

Very hard but really good fun

I think this is the first of about 3, not very good with numbers.

I bought this book and initially took time to get used to the small print as I always had large print books. But started enjoying after a while as the puzzles were a bit tricky.
