Here is the story, and you have to read it to understand why I only gave 3 stars.I went diving in Mexico two years back, in Boca tamatlan. It was sort of a private trip, two divers and one dive master. The other diver had difficulty walking, "Jesus I thought to myself, he can hardly walk, how is he going to scuba dive" He had MS as a kid, that wasn't so bad, then one day he is trying to make it across the street, and a car hits him and keeps on going. Now he had some serious problems, he lands in the hospital and told he will never walk again, but he always wanted to go scuba diving. So when he was old enough he took lessons and became a certified diver.We went in the water and i'm thinking what did Karla (the dive-master) get me into, how can I enjoy a dive with a guy that can't swim.Well he takes off, I'm watching him trying to figure out how he's moving so well, and his legs are just dangling behind him. Then I see he has these gloves on that are webbed, I think to myself he's faster then me underwater. We have a great dive, I was totally impressed. After that whenever I would think a dive is tough, I would think about this guy that did something most people with perfect bodies can't do. He overcame the obstacles of his life.So in December of 2013, I fell off a ladder and broke my humerus bone in two, I still don't see what is humorous about it.I couldn't swim, I could hardly walk, I was in serious trouble, Did I tell you I'm 71 years old? So from all my inactivity I lost my muscle mass, lost my strength, and thought this is it. Talk about getting depressed.My doctors told me I had to exercise, swim, ride a bike, do the things I've always done. I just couldn't do anything.I finally started swimming, and kept thinking about this guy I met in Mexico, he did the impossible. Lots of our brave hero's from the military also did the impossible, and here I was letting my belly slip down to my butt because I couldn't do anything. I started to swim every day, I saw these gloves and another type, bought both and started using them figuring my broken arm will heal faster if I push it by wearing these gloves. These gloves are so wimpy they didn't do anything, that is why only 3 stars. My other pair I would only give 4 stars. But they are to difficult to get off and on, so they would only get 2 stars. When I find a pair that work, I will note it here.

These gloves fit perfectly and work great! I normally wear medium gloves, but I ordered the small by mistake. It actually worked out perfectly because they fit just right. They feel great and give my arms a workout. I'm very happy.

I have exceptionally small hands and the XS gloves fit me like, well, a glove. On my first swim with them I flew powerfully through the water, and boy were my arms tired! The wide Velcro wristband is very secure and the gloves are of good quality. A great aid to resistance training.

I received these really quickly and they fit perfectly. I am a new surfer and I wanted them to help me get into the waves. I have only had the opportunity to use them once but I noticed a big difference immediately. Of course, I don't know how durable they are going to be, but fresh out of the box I am very pleased.

These make snorkeling just a bit easier. They are not cumbersome and give you a little more speed through the water.

I usually wear large - large is what I ordered - they fitThey came in the time frame they said they would.I use them for surfing - they do make a difference - easier to catch the waveFor the price they are decent. They aren't great but not cheap either. I had a pair similar for years - they finally gave way. we will see how long these last. They are thin material, not a thick neoprene like I had. But as I said, a good deal for the price.

They offer the resistance I was looking for, the material is well sewn and are very easy to put on wet or dry unlike other thick swim gloves. Well worth the investment.

Love these gloves. I'm a horrible swimmer, but these gloves help me propel in water pretty quick. I'm thinking of getting a second pair for surfing only...so I don't have to paddle hard to catch a wave.
