Works just as described. Takes a few minutes to set the whole thing up. Just read the instructions & it works perfectly. Good for cell phone charging, radio, alarm etc. I would recommend it to friends.

Remote buttons are hard to read in dim light, grey print on a black background, like in the morning when you're responding to the alarm. The power button on the remote is NOT highlighted in red. The buttons on the remote and the clock itself are not responsive, they need repeated pressing to get results. If you want to use the snooze button on the remote (which is why I bought it) you had better remember where that button is on the remote because you can't read it in the dark, and there is no special "feel" to it to make it stand out. By the time you find the right button, press it several times to activate snooze, the volume setting has gone up from faint to very loud, waking everybody up and you can only stop it by turning off the alarm or snoozing. When you turn the radio back on, it goes to the volume level it was on when you turned off the alarm, probably very loud. You cannot turn down the volume while the alarm is on because it will just start to increase again. This was not mentioned in the product description.The radio scan is odd, you cannot stop it on a desired station. When you stop it, it resets itself to the lowest station, and you have still to use the tune button to manually advance to the desired station.

I bought this for my 11 year old son and I was astounded how unbelievably complicated this clock radio is. I just wanted my son to learn how to set his own alarm. I can't even figure out how to set anything. It took three of us to figure out how to set the clock and could never figure out how to use the alarm..WOW. $60 NOT WORTH IT!!! Yes I read the instructions over and over and even tried to read the bottom of the clock.
