Pillows For PointesGel Pointe Shoe Cushions GPC One-Size

I thought they'd be a tad bit smaller than they are but the seller does mention that you can cut them to the size of your box. I actually like them more than I thought I would. They do absorb shock yet stay firm enough not to move around too much in the shoe or not stick to it in any way. Unfortunately they can be very hard / time consuming to get down into the box of your shoe. I've thought about gluing them but what if I get a different brand of pointe shoes next time? 😕

First of all, I bought these for my girlfriend as she does ballet and had no protection whatsoever in her Pointe Shoes. So,I bought these as a gift. Her impression is that they help, but you need to fix the size and position in every shoe by adding some glue, as they tend to move a lot when in use. Since they only cost like $2.10 they help. It's better than nothing but it's not the best protection you can get.

These came larger than the box of my toe shoes, which is great because I can cut them to exactly fit my shoes. I had imagined them to be softer (my jelly like), but they were on the harder side. Regardless, they still work very well and definitely absorb a lot of impact on my big toe, making the shoes a lot more comfortable. I would recommend this product.

I'm unsure what gel pointes should be like, but my daughter said that she needed different ones, told by girls in ballet who are actually in Pointe. My daughter ask for the Pointe shoes in hopes of strengthening her ankles, so she would get chosen for pointe, so unsure for a person in Pointe if these are what is needed.

It didn't really fit in the tip of my pointe shoe really well, but after cutting it down it worked great.

i just started pointe and i feel like these don't really help.. i got them for a little more cushion and i cant feel them at all. i guess i have amazing toe pads. they may work for others but i didnt care for them.

i thought it would be thicker.... I can't tell if it helps or does nothing. It is VERY hard to keep it in a point shoe.

I use these in my Gaynors. They fit the entire box to keep tips of toes protected. Not gelly-like as some of the others are but do offer protection and shock absorption.
