This was all my daughter asked for on her 9th Birthday! I have purchased two other cameras like this in the past for children and both worked great. I read some reviews about the cameras not working and thought it was just a few bad products. Well, I was wrong. She opened this on her Birthday and was so excited to take pictures and the camera didn't work at all!!! The lights start flashing and the camera won't work at all. We tried changing the batteries multiple times, while the camera was on...and nothing! Such a disappointment! Obviously there is some major issues here with this product and seller,.

10 year old daughter loved and has enjoyed all the accessories!!!! Just add a special sized photo book to put polaroids in and it would have been complete. All of the pieces were soooo cute!

Great camera for kids. The pictures are good if you take them close up. The back pack is awesome.

The camera was for my granddaughter for Christmas. What a disappointment. It doesn't work. Yes, I changed batteries and also opened two packs of film to test the problem. I paid almost $100 for a huge disappointment! My granddaughter had already opened and organized her bag before I had a chance to check the camera, so it is not in its package. I don't even know if I can exchange it now. Warning... Don't buy it!!!

I ordered this camera twice and BOTH of them didn’t work! The lights just flash and it will not take a picture. Tried changing the batteries, still doesn’t work! This was a gift to my daughter for her birthday and she wasn’t even able to use it to take pictures during her birthday party. Highly disappointed.

My daughter was so excited to receive this as her most desired Christmas present. Much to get disappointment the one we had didn’t work. Amazon quickly sent a replacement, only to discover the second one didn’t work either. We ended up buying the camera elsewhere, but she was so sad to give up all the fun accessories that came with this kit. After two attempts I wasn’t willing to try it again. We were really disappointed by this purchase, especially since there was such excited anticipation surrounding it.

Amazon should stop selling the Instax Mini 9. I’m having the same problem as many other reviewers of this product: The red lights on the camera are flashing simultaneously, and won’t go off despite the change of batteries and film set. The camera is defective. Apparently this version has been discontinued because of this problem with the lighting’s manual setting.
