Bright Time Buddies Unicorn - The Night Light Lamp You Can Take with You

This is a great idea that was made poorly. First off, the light is too bright for anyone to comfortably fall asleep while cuddling with it. I have ordered two of these unicorns and they have both had electrical issues with the light going on and/or staying on.I suggest you keep looking for something else because this was a big let down.

I purchased this night light for my four year daughter, after hearing her ooh and aah every time the commercial appeared on television. After putting in the three brand new AAA batteries (not included), the cheap looking creature began to change colors and she absolutely loved it. After almost two weeks of use, she is no longer thrilled.The instructions state that night light automatically shuts off after 1 hour. This is true when it is placed on her dresser. After she places it in bed, any slight movement causes it to shut off, which is strange because you have to press the button hard to manually turn it on and off. Also the yellow mode is now showing as a strange orangey red shade. I've tried changing batteries and I get the same result. At first I thought I had just received a faulty item, but after looking at other reviews, I see others have had the same experience.At first glance after receiving the package, I thought the unicorn looked cheap. It was slightly dingy and the paint job is just awful. After seeing how long it actually works, I am disappointed I spent $20 on the Bright Time Buddies unicorn. Will not purchase another one.

Getting 3 stars because of a little flaw that can become annoying. The batteries will start to pop out of connection, therefore it starts to not light up correctly. This will make any 4 year old get a little upset.If you purchase, after you put the rub batteries in get a small rubberband to put around them to keep in place. Since I have done that, the issue has cleared.The plus side: this unicorn is very cute and just enough light/glow to help make the dark not so scary.

This is so STINKING CUTE!! It's small in size, but super bright. My three year old is afraid of the dark, but once we got the batteries in she turned it on and ran to the bathroom and shut the door without turning on the light just to enjoy the little bright unicorn. The only downside is that we only got one. I have two daughters. I made a mistake. I should have just gotten two, this is a great product! Seriously, you will not be disappointed. Get one of these for your kids, or yourself. It's awesome!

This is adorable! It's also very sturdy and holds up to being thrown across the room by a tired toddler during a tantrum. The unicorn changes colors - the colors of the rainbow when turned on. It's a soft glow, perfect for soothing nighttime fears in young children.I like that the battery bay screws in so my kids don't have access to the three AAA batteries.

Super, super disappointed with this. I bought two unicorns for my daughters for Christmas. I got one unicorn and one dog! Fortunately my daughter was fine with the dog. They only worked for about two weeks. I've seen how the other reviewers have rigged them, but I'm so annoyed that I refuse on principle. They were really cute while they worked, though.

Ordered this for my great nephew. Packaged brightly. He seemed to like it even though he's little. I needed a Unicorn for a boy as I buy Unicorns for all the grandkids of my little sister who passed away when her kids were babies themselves. Hard to find for a boy but this fit the bill. They live in another state so I haven't seen it personally but I haven't been informed of any issues.

I ordered the unicorn Bright Time Buddy for my niece's fifth birthday. Open receiving the item I noticed it was a lot smaller than I had imagined. The biggest issue I had was that not only were there uneven paint spots it actually looked dirty and wiping it did nothing. It came with directions on how to insert batteries/operate the light (batteries not included). In order to turn the light on you must push down on the top of the light but make sure it's sitting on a table because the entire battery pack came out of the bottom. Overall I feel the product is very cheap and should have been $5-$10 at most. Regardless my niece loved it which made me feel better. Just a warning for future buyers.
