Slow to respond
I use this with aeotec zwave usb adapter and home assistant and the response time is super slow! There is also no way to disable the flash light when motion is detected. I bought 3 more and I think i'm going to return them all.

Quick setup, working with Hass
No issues connecting to the Aeotec z-wave stick.I left it in factory default mode, and it's quite sensitive. The only issue is that i put it in a laundry room, and after a couple loads, it's noticably delayed with reduced sensitivity. That's a symptom of differential temperature sensors like this though.It's connected to a Shelly 1 in the wall switch via MQTT, with the stock Shelly firmware. Logic is through Home Assistant and node-red. With the switch, i can flip it on if it doesn't react immediately when i walk in, but then it will turn itself off again, which is really what i was after.It's light enough, i just stuck it to the ceiling with 3M command strips cut down a little. That would make it a good option for apartments or renters. I just didn't want to drill holes until i knew it would work, but I'm going to leave it that way, because i hate popping holes in the house.

False low battery warnings on Vera Plus
I have two of these units joined to my Vera Plus. Both units send Low Battery signals constantly even though batteries are fine. Very annoying.

works great with my HomeAssistant and zwave JS. no issues so far. can be powered by 5v i believe but im using batteries at this time.

Don't waste your money on the KAIPULE Ceiling-Mounted Z-Wave Plus PIR Motion Sensor.

Not Vera listed. Not reliable.
This is second one. I send first one for exchange. Connected to Vera. It is not listed in vera devices, had to install it as generic z wave device. My vera firmware is 1.7.4453. First sensor sent low battery signal constantly, despite there were new batteries installed and confirmed they have 3.2 volts. Some times it transmitted a message that the sensor was tampered. Replaced the sensor. New sensor is also sending low battery signal, but no tampering signal. So strange.

Does not pair with Vera
Was unable to pair with Vera Secure, not in the list. Wish I would have tried this earlier so it could be returned.
