Brite Source 28w 2D Square 2-Pin GR10q Cap Standard White (3500k) Compact Fluorescent Lamp, GR8, 28 W [Energy Class A]

These are inexpensive enough that I don't mind getting them. I was a bit wary about having lightbulbs shipped in the mail but as of yet none of them have come broken. I have replaces them maybe a bit more often than I would have liked to or have to with other bulbs but they are cheap enough that I don't mind.

Good value for Money - but be careful you purchase the right bulb as the bulb comes in 3 varieties - 2 pin, 4 pin and six pin. We needed the two pin and thought the four pin would work but it does not. Be careful when you order or you will waste your money. we made a small mistake - it was not the vendor's problem but a mistake easily made based on inaccurate assumptions. Arrived the next day at a much cheaper price than the high street or the B&Q depot.

As I was replacing a Thorn 25 year old bulb, I feared I would have to replace the entire unit. Bought the 2 pin knowing that was the fit. Could not be more pleased, perfect for and much improved light effect.

I used to buy lamps from local stores that lasted for 3 months maximum. I bought this one for the same price and it's been functioning for straight 10 months already and still going with no sign of deterioration.

Great bulb worked very well as soon as it was fitted no issues whatsoever very good illumination

As expected

Been a week or two since I popped the bulb in and all is well. It was even left on all day by accident so life span should be ok by the looks of things. The original bulb/tube had the code 16CFLD4 which worried me as I was wondering if this was going to be the same but as I have said "All is well".
