Kids Dinosaur Design 3 Piece Boys Melamine Dinnerware Set - Plate, Bowl, Cup

Items look exactly as listed, but each one broke with only mild use. Only a few months later, they're all in the garbage bin.

I'm so torn about this set. They're so adorable and we bought the matching flatware to go with it. I want to love it, but ... The bowl broke within the first few weeks. It fell inside a slightly larger bowl when doing dishes and the suction stuck in there fast. I tried to *** gently *** pry it out and the bowl shattered. We were disappointed and wanted to buy another set, but haven't been able to find anywhere locally (in our country) that sells it ... After reading that other people have had the same problem with this set shattering, I guess we won't be buying it again :-(BUT!!!!! We also bought the owl set at the same time (approx. 2 years ago) and they're still gorgeous and going strong. They've been dropped, bumped, and slammed with utensils - not a nick on them. I going to go out on a limb and guess that this particular set was a "bad batch" since melamine is usually so durable. Maybe that's why they're so hard to find.
