First off the assembly was super easy. The install wasn’t bad at all and we installed on the pontoon while in the water. Ours has aluminum decking so didn’t need all the hardware. Our 10 month old lab can’t help herself but to jump off our boat so this ladder was a must have so we did t have to worry about lifting her back up on the boat all weekend. It seems sturdy enough for the dog. The platform is 7-8 inches under water and the first step up is right at the water line so our lab needs no help at all. It is a little shaky for the price. 700 is pretty expensive for what it is. Thin powder coated steel. With thick rubber mats glued to steps. Most of the hardware is aluminum so won’t have to worry about rust but seems like the steps should be in the 400 dollar range. Overall we’re happy with the product.

The first step is permanent. This is the best thing to get your dog in and out of the water . No matter what age they feel confident that they can go in and out with no problem.. H2O XL. . The problem I have is that people think they can use it “ Lol 😆 big nope !!!

I purchased an H2O XL (not through Amazon but directly from them) that unfortunately wasn't exactly what I was looking for to put on my specific boat. But I wanted to let everyone know how helpful and responsive Bob and his company are, even in the return process. Most of the time you are communicating directly with the owner/inventor, who is there to provide support and answer your questions. They are small, based in the US, and have a great product - just wasn't quite what I was looking for on my boat, but it's probably a great choice for many of you.

If you have a dog and want to take it to the lake this is the best solution. Simply folds up and down to store out of the way when not in use. Super high quality materials are used and the customer service is great. Install was straight forward and the dogs (we have 3) intuitively understood how to use the ladder immediately. If your in the market for a ladder for your boat look no further.Again the customer service of this product is unheard of. They are super great to work with and make a great niche product.

I found Pet Loader here on Amazon but ordered from them directly. My dog loves being able to jump off and on the boat when he pleases.The step is entirely made in US. i had a small issue with the length of step to the water to make it comfortable for my dog (Boxer) to get on and off easily.. The owner Bob, went above and beyond to help me and didn't give up until I was completely satisfied, With a customer service that is completely unheard of these days. he truly cares about his business, product, and customers. Me and our dog are very happy
