Yoga Music: Recycled for Use in Belly Dance
With a resequencing of the tracks, this album is suitable for a class-length soft power vinyasa home practice (with a bell curve and/or dramatic arc in tempo); but even better, with a little imagination, it could even better be used for fast belly dance or Bollywood dance. The ethereal, haunting and otherworldly melodies get you to move more dancer-like than could be warranted for the type of yoga I overwhelmingly do.I especially appreciate that some lyrics are in Hebrew, others in Arabic, and yet others in Sanskrit; with the accompaniment of lounge jazz/tabla percussions. Certainly an exciting, cross-cultural journey for your ears. Just adjust your equalizer and go!

I really like this CD - the music is really great for ...
I really like this CD - the music is really great for a yoga practice especially if you are wanting something to energize your practice. I also find myself listening to it while driving in the car.

Good for a yoga class; good for general listening
I lead a yoga class a couple of days a week, one is vinyasa/flow class and the other is more hatha/yin. I am always looking for new music for us to enjoy. This CD is lovely for either class, strong enough for a faster flow yet turned down, mellow enough for more meditative yin class. I also listen to it when I'm not in class- great CD!

Excellent!
Good groovy music. Great instrumentation, great vocals, a delightful cameo by a Tibetan monk whose name I don't have on the tip of my tongue, but who is well known for chanting. Get it.

Smooth grooves
One of our favorite yoga CDs, this one has a mellow blend of Brazilian-themed music that is nice for yoga or just chilling.

another great yoga cd
A great yoga cd for any type of flow style yoga. I like the feel of it. Some great music and all students have loved it too. Don't even hesitate to buy this cd, its a must. A great alternative/compliment to shiva Rae music.
