Denby Jet Stripes Tea/Coffee Cup

Bought this as a replacement for my Jet Stripe crockery set, which I've had since 2007. Love it. Have no need to upgrade all the time this is available.

I love this Denby Range, it is not cheap but very robust I have had mine for many years, I have three sizes of the plates (26.5, 22.5 & 18.5cm), soup / cereal bowls & curve mugs 0.4 litre, and now the coffee / tea cups 0.25 litre - lovely to hold and to drink out of.In all the time I have been using the plates I have had one plate chip (no idea how). So the price for the robustness of the pottery is well worth paying for.I tend to buy extra if I see good offers, this extends my usage availability, I only wish Denby would do a 'small / bread roll 15cm' plate in their collections.(I managed to source these 44% cheaper than they are selling for by the current seller and 6.5% cheaper than on-line stores, I had no postage costs as they were collectable at a local store).Not all the Denby range is as robust, I bought our daughter a set of Denby Monsoon Lucille Teal (no longer available), although very pretty were far more fragile and a few pieces have been damaged in use.These are listed as 'Suitable for use in the dishwasher, oven, microwave and freezer' - not sure I would put them in the latter three but mine go in the dishwasher all the time, glazed, chip resistant.
