Great protection for 3.5 in hard drives. Used this to move across the country and had 0 drive failures.The box is not the same size as the the foam insert so there is some room for it to slide. Easy to just put some card board or something to stop that though.

The foam storage for hard disks does the job and safely stores my retired drives. I haven't had to recover a drive so can't say about the safety and anti-static claims. It is a little tight. The top just floats on it, so if you don't put it in a drawer or box it is easily pushed off. In my opinion this is very pricey for a piece of foam with slots. I am keeping it though.

This tray is really nice but I sure wish it was cheaper. I've got a stack of accumulated hard drives for various purposes here (including some older SCSI drives from my UNIX workstation days), using this to organize & protect instead of my former "piles on the shelf" method! Eventually need to get a few more.It's not clear from the listing, but it does come in a suitable, usable cardboard box which helps store things in case you're not putting it directly into a drawer or the like. I'm looking for a nice plastic file box it will fit, no luck yet.

I had never seen these storage systems before and stumbled on them during a search. As a video producer, I have several dozen hard drives in various individual plastic storage cases in my studio. That requires some sort of shelving system to store. Then you need to remove it from its case to use it. Sooner or later, the cases become brittle and start to break. The Pro Storage is the perfect system for me. I cleared out a file drawer near my console, dropped it in, done. Now my drives are protected and in arms reach without having to deal with removing them from a case.

This fits perfectly in a normal sized file cabinet and does its job well. If your drawer does not come out all the way though, the row is pretty worthless. Its a loose fit on a naked hard drive and a tight fit on a hard drive with a static bag but it certainly works.

Love, love, love this storage solution!I previously just had numerous bare hard drives stacked in my office.This neatly organizes them (if you label them on the end) and provides an upright, static free storage solution.Brilliant that they can fit in file drawers! I have purchased 3 of these as I archive a lot of video footage.

Excellent. Exactly what I was look for to hold all of the hard drives I had previously stored in individual foam cases.Fit easily in my desk drawer. A very niche product, but one that does an excellent job of safely storing internal hard drives close by until needed.

These HDD storage boxes work quite well but are way overpriced.
