Train My Hound - Squeaking Dog Toy - Yellow Chicken 8" Long

This has been her favorite toy for over 3 months now.

Cute toy. My dog was very excited to get it. The squeaker is louder than many squeaky toys, so it is potentially annoying.Categorizing it as a toy for aggressive chewers is just plain deceitful.My 1 year old Miniature Australian Shepherd chewed a foot off in less than an hour. I am disappointed because it specifically says for aggressive chewers and it should last, especially at this price.This toy is probably great if you do not have an aggressive chewer.

Jan 18th Review UpdateI love this toy and hate it at the same time. LOL. This is the only toy Sophie hasn't pulled the squeaker out of. She loves it and plays with it everyday. And I do mean EVERYDAY!!! I put up with the noise because I love my baby. I will definitely buy this again!!Dec 25th reviewI used to have the large screaming chicken but could not find any replacements. I found this and decided to give it a try. It is a lot smaller than what I thought it would be. My dog still loves it because it makes that obnoxious noise. I have to keep the toy when we play because she would tear it to pieces. I also use it during training class to keep her attention. This is good for a small dog.

Grest for any dog! It is tough, its not bullet proof though.I have a english bulldog that chews everything. and i mean EVERYTHING.I had to stop giving her toys all together but then she started trying to bite peoples shoes (and feet) to try to play.So needless to say, i needed to find a dog toy that could take a beating and i wanted one that could squeak, and this one seemed the best,This did not disappoint, though my dog did bite a few small holes in it, she couldnt rip it apart and it still sqeeks somehow.Well worth the money to have something that will last!

I bought this because the description said 'for aggressive chewers'. My dog, 50 pound 1 year old red heeler, loved this rubber chicken. She carried it around for, wagging her tail, then began chewing. 20 minutes tops, she had eaten off the leg. She eats things, and I mean swallows. I later found a foot. For that 20 minutes, though, she was a happy girl. For a real aggressive chewer I suggest the knotted Nylabone that supposedly tastes like chicken. She chews on that, hasn't ate it, yet.

This is not worth the money and can easily choke your dog. Due to the loud squeaking I could only deal with it a couple of hours a day, but my dog loved it. He is an 8 month old boxer / beagle mix and weighs 30 lbs. Well we had this toy for exactly 7 days, play time 14 hrs. The first to go was the bill. It wasn't 5 mins. later and the entire head was gone. This toy does not shred, but pulls apart in tiny circles; like small rubber bands which can lodge in their teeth or cause worse damage. I definitely would not recommend this toy to anyone!

We bought this Duck 8 Months ago. It is by far our Scarlett's favorite toy. She has gutted every stuffed animal we have given her. Some have the roughest toys rated for distruction. Everyone gutted. Not the Duck. She absolutely loves her duck. Maybe she likes it so much she wouldn't hurt it. I'm not sure about that however the Duck has no signs of damage other then the corner of the mouth.***Now it's 2 1/2 Years later and she is on her Third Rubber Chicken and still loves it to death. She still has the other two and there a little warn out from constant playing. great Durable product.

This toy is smaller than I had expected but it doesn't matter. My dog is 40 pounds and it's a fine size for him. I wouldn't say it's good for aggressive chewers though. It's survived because he isn't much of a chewer - he's more of a stomper. He adores this toy. It's shrill and you will have to really work on ignoring the sound, as that's the main draw. He loves it so much that it is the ONLY toy we own that he will actively fight his big brother over as he has claimed it for himself, and big brother, who doesn't care about the toy but likes to wrestle, has learned that to instigate a fight, all he needs to do is steal the toy. The little dog will carry this toy up and down the stairs, brings it into bed (yuck!), and has even tried to carry it outside for a potty break. If it does break one day, I intend to buy another, it's worth it.
