Baby Car Mirror for Rear Facing Car Seat - Shatterproof, Adjustable for Headrest

This mirror is a quality product that definitely met and even surpassed my expectations. It's easy to position, it's easy to adjust, it stays in place even on bumpy roads. I was thrilled because with our first baby on the way, I had spent way too much time researching every knickknack that we thought we would need, and I had forgotten about the car mirror. So, basically I skipped the research and bought this because it looked good and was inexpensive! Worked out extremely well. I don't have experience with other mirrors to compare it, but I don't see how you could improve on this design. Ours came with a bonus of some hooks that you can attach to a stroller. I did not anticipate using these, but it turns out that they are also great and I now use them all the time on our stroller. They were an excellent alternative to the "mommy hook," which didn't work well with our particular stroller as it prevented us from folding it up easily. These Dwelling Place hooks however are very lightweight yet strong, and can be attached pretty much anywhere depending on what works for you.It's a little hard to explain but the little hooks can be swiveled which is also very handy. Very cool, simple product. Even without the stroller hooks, I would call this mirror an excellent value, I highly recommend if you are in that frenzied state of comparative shopping like I was!

My car has very small back seat headrests (hatchback) and every mirror I've had prior, I've had to install in some weird way to get it to fit. Most of the time that distorts the view and the stability always made me worry in the event we'd be in an accident. This mirror has a very small base which is perfect for the headrest. The adjustable straps make it a lot easier to adjust too. I haven't had any "slowly dropping down" issues others have had even while driving on bumpy roads. It's so great my husband got one too! His car has larger headrests and it still fits his perfectly! Now I recommend this to everyone. Plus the price is lower than the terrible ones I've gotten before.

I love this mirror! My daughter is 4 months old and we had originally bought a cheap backseat mirror from a big box store but it wouldn't stay in place and would slide up so I couldn't see her. This mirror stays in place and I can see her perfectly! I like that it's big and she can see me as well if I turn to look at her.I noticed some people mention that it shakes as you're driving, it did for me at first, but once I tightened it, it is much better! Can't get a better mirror for the price!!

Great mirror! It's bigger than it looks in the pictures, and it works perfectly. At first, I was looking for a glass mirror for clarity. But after reading reviews and safety articles, it's a big no-no to have a heavy glass mirror in the car, as they're heavy, can break, and can become projectiles in a crash. Not being glass, I wasn't expecting much in the way of clarity from a plastic mirror. However, after I mounted it and peeled back the protective film, I found that this mirror is excellent!Mounting the mirror is simple enough, although I wish the straps were a bit higher quality. They seem to slip through the clip tensioners a bit too easily, but it hasn't budged since I strapped them down tight.Once you set the mirror's angle, it stays put pretty well. I have a somewhat stiff suspension (VW GTI), and although I can see it vibrate, the angle never changes.I'm not sure what to say about the stroller hooks. I don't use them. A bunch of other reviews rave about them, but they're probably paid reviews. I wouldn't go out of my way to buy them, and I haven't used them at all (even though one is attached to the stroller).I haven't tried the other mirrors, but this one probably just as good as the other black-framed ones selling for $10 more.

Just installed it yesterday and tested it on the way to the pediatrician's office for our newborn's 1 week check-up.It's pretty sturdy and stays in place. Initially, I've tightened it really tight and I saw the rear bottom portion of the headrest get bunched up. I didn't want to damage the leather so I've loosen it up a bit (still quite tight) and straighten out the folded portion but the mirror still stable even while driving. It does vibrate a bit at times but you are in a moving car and not constantly looking at the mirror so I think this is not a big issue. Once adjusted to the desired angle, the mirror didn't move around but I haven't hit a big bump yet and I'm driving carefully when the newborn is in the car, so we'll see.Also, the car seat and the mirror is placed on the driver's side and I'm able to see the reflection fine on the rearview mirror while driving.

So far, this item is fantastic. We purchased this brand because our previous mirror (from another manufacturer) broke upon swiveling it. This one feels so much sturdier, and the mirror is so much clearer right out of the package--compared to when our other one was new. The swivel is smooth, but not loose as to feel cheap, and feels well-made. The straps adjusted easily and mounted to our headrest (Volkswagen Tiguan and Honda CR-V) without an issue.

Wish we would have bought this one for our first child. We’re expecting baby number two, and we still have our toddler rear facing (thanks to graco extend-to-fit car seat!). We have noticed that as our toddler has gotten bigger, the mirror we currently have won’t stay in the right position to be able to see him correctly. I came looking at amazon, and saw this one with the nice back that allows you to adjust the angle no matter what type of headrests you have. AND it was CHEAPER than our other mirror! We bought three of them, happy with them all.
