Grade A Lamb and Rice Dog Food for Elderly Chihuahua
I buy this for my 12 y/o Chihuahua. She has to eat only wet food now because she has tooth problems and she can't eat dry food. She LOVES this food and will not eat other brands now. When you open up a can, you can see the pieces of rice in the food. My vet has told me before that mixing rice in with her dog food would keep her stomach from being upset. In any case, this is really easy on her. Most wet food gives her diarrhea but this food definitely seems to be mostly meat that is packed very close together with no gravy, almost like how meatloaf is but tighter.Another thing I noticed, which I can't prove but I definitely saw it with my own eyes, is that this food made her fur shinier, like maybe it has more nutrients or better nutrition than her old food brand, Cesar (stay away from Cesar, btw! Used to be a good brand but changed up the formula and it's very low quality even for dog food!)As she has gotten older, her fur no longer shines and is no longer smooth. Kind of has had a coarse feel to it. After a week of this dog food, I immediately noticed that her fur was getting closer to how it used to be when she was younger.Bottom line: great dog food, fair price, and Bridgette loves it: it fills her, satisfies her, and it seems to improveher skin and fur conditions. Grade A dog food for my elderly chihuahua.

This Shipper Bigler's customer service is fantastic
My long hair mini dachshund is 16 and half and his day begins and ends with his obsession with certain cans of mighty dog. He should be a commercial for it living so long and being so healthy all these yrs. This review though is for the company shipping it their customer service was fantastic. They shipped the wrong kind by mistake and immediately sent the right kind no questions asked other then a pic of what was sent that was wrong. Just days later I got the new cans, They are honest and fantastic. My dachshund "beau beau" still going strong on Mighty D, thanks them!

Our little dogs LOVE this flavor Might Dog
Our two little Toy Manchester Terriers (8.5 lbs) have very sensitive digestive systems so we are careful what we feed them and they are also a bit fussy about what they'll eat. This flavor - Rotisserie Chicken and Chicken with Rice agrees with them just fine and they love it for the 2x a day feedings. We do feed a moistened dry high quality dry food mixed in with the Mighty Dog just to make 100% sure they're getting a well balanced diet and we like them to have a bit of crunchy food to help keep their teeth clean. Our vet tells us they're both in tip top shape and their coats have a beautiful show quality shine. We believe that the food they consume has a lot to do with that.Yes, Mighty Dog is a little higher priced than some but it's a good quality food that along with regular vet visits and exercise will keep your dog healthy for their lifetime.

Looks good enough to spread on bread!
Okay, so I really would not make a sandwich using our dog's food! The Mighty Dog Chicken & Bacon Combo does have all the things I enjoy, and the same for our two mini schnauzers. I mix this wet food with dry kibbles, and sometimes they both walk away, or one stays to eat, and the other one - not interested....go figure! (I suspect it might be the boring kibbles that they reject.)Anyway, Mighty Dog seems to be their favorite Go-To canned dog food, so that's a big plus. The Purina company is concerned with putting out a quality product with plenty of protein, nutrients, and big flavor. My dogs are healthy and happy, thanks Purina!

Great for picky dog
My senior Chiweener is the pickiest dog in the world. After a dental procedure last year I was struggling to give her antibiotics. For a little dog with a few teeth she would not stand for me trying to put a pill down her throat. She nailed me a couple times.I tried to hide the pill in everything. Steak, cheese, peanut butter, etc. No luck until I found Mighty Dog Beef.Hid the pill in a small spoonful, she practically inhaled it!Now she gets it nightly for dinner. After 1 year still loves it!

Investigation prior to purchase proved this a completely safe food product
The most important consideration to buy this product, even before price, was the research I took the time to investigate to confirm that this product is 100% made in the USA. There are many dog food products selling on Amazon which are made in foreign countries selling for less than Purina. almost all foreign processors are in China. Choosing food products for pet dogs, or cats is a matter of personal dog owner choice. What other people decide to feed their pets is irrelevant for me. Safety first for my pets is #1 importance for me

Puppy won't eat without it
I know I know I know. It's not organic! Who cares. My dog loves it. He has such a sensitive stomach and this food doesn't bother him one bit. I tried all the $5 a can organic ones and it gave him the runs. Remember to use what works! If he's happy I'm happy. Easy shipping and no need to carry heavy bags home. Great $$ point too. I use just a drop to add into his Bil & Jac dry food and he gobbles it all up! One can lasts me 4 days in the fridge with a lid of course

dented cans
my dog likes this brand of dog food. I read reviews about one after another regarding oddly dented cans. But thought I would chance it because I really wasn't understanding how these cans are dented. I bought two cases one chicken and one chicken with egg. The box arrived just fine so was confident I didn't get damaged cans. I was wrong. What you have to understand is HOW these cans are dented. It has nothing to do with shipping. It has to do with storage. Someone in the warehouse is stacking these things so high the weight is collapsing them cans inside each other forcing the cans to 'open'. ....or better yet the seal to give way. the lids are dented by collapsing down compressing the lid down inside the can from the weight of other cans/boxes stacked inside/on top of it. The bottom of the card board cases shows the force the cans are pushed down tightly into the next row of cans causing the dents and lids to open from the pressure. I am writing directly to amazon as well. this is a serious health hazard for our dogs.
