Waspt V-Belt Industrial Drive Belting,Adjustable Link,3/8" Width,4ft Length (A Type)

I have a full woodworking shop with various electric motor driven machines. Unless the motor is integral to the machine I use these link belts exclusively. They are incredibly strong and never seem to wear. Most important is that you build your own belt to the exact length you need. They are a bit pricey but in my 50 years in the shop, well worth the extra cost.Here is a photo of my wood lathe which I recently converted from a variable speed to the more reliable stepped pulley format. The link belt was the perfect way to go.

I switch between drive wheels of different sizes. It does stretch, I can pull out a link without having to adjust the mount repeatedly.
