My great grandson loved it

My 2 year old son loves fire trucks and enjoyed reading this book ; looking at pictures during our bedtime routine. I am sure he will enjoy it more as he gets older!

The item was delivered next door to my neighbors house. I was able to retrieve it. My grandson loved his new book.

I have read this book for my 3 yo for over 50 times already. Still his daily favorite. He asks for this book to be read more than one time a day.

My toddler grandson sleeps with his fire-fighter books. He loves pretending to be a fire-fighter. This book is more detailed and factual than most that I have purchased for him. He never tired of reading about the working life of Big Frank.

My daughter is obsessed with fire trucks and firefighters and so i set out to find a book that would teach her more about them at the young age of 3, but that wouldn’t water it down so much that it oversimplifies. This book does a great job of explaining all the responsibilities a firefighter has. I’m pretty sure i’ve read this book every night and sometimes more since i gave it to her. I highly recommend adding this to your child’s book collection. It’s a fun and interesting read.

I'm very picky about what I give 5 stars to but this book has been requested by my 3 year old son every day since we gave it to him for Christmas (February 1 is tomorrow). My 5 year old daughter requests it nearly as often and my 7 year old daughter will also pick it up and read it from time to time.PROS1. The illustrations are fantastic - the illustrations are my favorite thing about this book. They are very engaging with lots of action, bright colors and detailed enough to be interesting even after multiple reads. I'll be googling the illustrator to see if he has done any other books we might be interested in.2. Informative & interesting - my kids seem to enjoy knowing the real words for the different types of fire trucks and the day-in-the-life format weaves everything together.3. I also appreciated that they show multiple ethnicities (kids and adults) in the book.4. This one is more subjective but after reading this book every night for the past night *I* still like it, which I can't say for all the picture books we own...CONS1. I really had to rack my brain to think of anything. I guess it can be a bit of a long read if you're trying to rush your kids off to bed, but I think that could be said of ANY book. ;) And it's not nearly as long as any of Dr. Seuss' books (which I love but not if I want to get the kids to bed any time soon).

This book is the first fire related book I’ve bought that talks about a 24 shift! The book follows Big Frank through his entire day. It is possibly the best firefighter book we’ve read so far. It’s a little wordy but has great pictures. My 3 year old loves it!

Fantastic book, my son loves it and the story is detailed enough for a pre-schooler to learn a lot about big Frank's fantastic job.

not what I expected

This book is far too complicated for ages 3-5. I wouldn't even recommend it for a 6 year old. There's a lot of overly detailed reading unnecessary for young children. I do not recommend for young children.

My 3 year old who loves fire trucks and learning about firefighters/fire stations loves this book. We ready it twice in a row before bed at night (his request 🤣). Keeps his attention every time, no mid book chatting. Haha

My son is 4 in a few months time, and is extremely interested in all things Fire Trucks and Firefighters, and this book was perfect for him! It’s very detailed, which he loves, but still short enough to hold his interest, and to read at bedtime. It’s a real classic, the illustrations are very traditional, and tell a great story on their own. Overall a brilliant book!
