Not happy with this product. Sent it back. Had to put it together yourself and bits were missing,

First time reshelling my joycons so I didn't know what to expect. Found the process pretty easy with a good youtube tutorial and all the spare screws/springs etc included in this set. Like most, I chewed the old screws with the supplied screwdriver but I think that says more about the screws themselves and how cheap and rubbish they are. I used the spares to fasten the joycons back up and the quality difference is obvious. I didn't bother changing the buttons as I prefer the blacks ones, however I would have liked some matching sl/sr buttons which I didn't receive in this kit and thought odd. Had to keep my old ones which are the original colour scheme. Bit disappointing but you don't see those very often so not too bothered. The shell cases feel nice. More matt than nintendo joycons but I quite like that. Can't speak to the button qualifty as I opted not to use them. I'll probably buy some more in the future to shell my other set of joycons. So yes, I would recommend these if you are thinking of doing it. The spare parts are a life saver, between chewed screws and a spring that disappeared into the cosmos, they came in very handy.

I have to say I did expect a little more out of this product however I cant say I'm especially disappointed. My unit didn't come with the extra buttons and triggers as shown in the listing however it was an amazon warehouse product so I cant complain too much. I would expect all the items would be included were the product bought new. The included screwdriver is pretty nice and definitely adds to the value of the kit, my only gripe with it is that it's not magnetic which is annoying when working with such tiny screws so I kept a magnetic one beside me to fish out the little screws. For some good points, the colour is rich and deep and looks stunning which is the main reason I have no real complaints. The 'soft touch' finish is advertised all over the product page however in person it doesn't do a whole lot and doesn't give the shells anymore of a premium feel over the original so you're essentially buying just the colour which is fine but the advertising is maybe a little misleading. Another point about the finish is that its a bit more of a grease magnet which is something to keep in mind if kids will be handling the console. Installation was fine, no harder than you'd expect from something like this and it took me around an hour to do the pair. My overall take away is these are a great option if your shells are a little worn down or you'd just like to personalise the switch.

Absolutely perfect. I fitted this kit whilst switching out the old joysticks for new hall effect joysticks and have transformed a worn and drifting pair of joy-cons to better than new condition. I'd highly recommend leaving the ribbon cables that join the two halves of the shells attached throughout, as they're very delicate and tricky to reattach.

The internal electronics of the Nintendo Switch controllers are really tiny and fragile. It is far from straightforward to replace the bodies with these.

These shells are extremely well made, especially for being so cheap. All the components fit exactly as they should and they feel really nice to use. It would be difficult to tell these apart from original joy cons. As long as you have experience in doing something like this it is pretty quick to do aswell. My only downside is that the screwdrivers could be magnetic as the screws are tiny

I have broken one side of my Nintendo switch controllers and was looking to buy new ones. I clicked onto this product and looked at the pictures and was like” yes this looks good and customisable aswell” so I ordered it. Turns out it was only the case. I am so pissed but your poor advertisement. A case for the joy cons should be the first names for it not somewhere down the line. I was really expecting good controllers instead I got a case for them. Please change your pictures from a controller to just the case because this is really confusing and annoying.

This is pretty much the best third-party Joycon replacement you can find. The package contains everything you need to change the shell including the screw drivers and replacement screws. Plastic does not feel cheap compared to lower quality ones and quite close to the original ones by big N. Would have liked an instruction manual for tear-down and installing the shell, so this product is mainly for hobbyists who know what they are doing

They look great! Good material used (soft to the touch), relatively easy to install (only took me an hour to do, most difficult was the ribbon cables). Software to change Joy-Con colours from Neon-Red/Blue to straight Red was easily found on (GBAtemp). I'm very happy with this

Son de buena calidad, muy parecidos a los de nintendo en cuanto a tacto (por lo menos los blancos). Trae un set de botones y tornillos pero se pueden reutilizar los originales. Los destornilladores que trae son extremadamente malos, mucho cuidado al apretar o aflojar porque se puede romper la punta o incluso peor, deformar el cabezal del tornillo. Recomiendo usar otros destornilladores. En cuanto al montaje, hay muchos tutoriales y se puede hacer con paciencia y un poco de maña. Hay que tener cuidado con los cables porque se pueden romper si das tirones, por eso lo mejor es informarse previamente del proceso ya que, además, el joycon derecho es distinto del izquierdo y cambia ligeramente el proceso. También puede ser muy útil tener alguna herramienta de plástico fina (incluso una pua de guitarra), y unas pinzas ya que los conectores son pequeños y se necesita precisión. El proceso lleva 1-2h dependiendo de la experiencia que tengas en tareas del estilo.

Feels quality and came with everything you need. Did not use the provided screwdrivers however so can't feedback on that but the shells sure feel good to touch!
