Jobs on a Farm (World of Farming) Paperback – September 1, 2010

My 2 year old is farm-obsessed at the moment and he loves this book. The captions are short so he can memorize them and the pictures are of real life Farms which is a nice change of pace from so many cartoon books.

When doing a unit on the farm in my preschool class I wanted to show the children what farmers actually do on the farm. This book has clear text, wonderfully clear pictures that show farmers in action. I believe it is important to expose children to non-fiction as well as storybooks and this topic is perfect for some reality! I highly recommend for ages 3 - 6.

I purchased this for a group of 2 1/2 year olds that I teach and they seemed to love it for as long as their little attention spans would allow them to pay attention lolThe came in great condition, it was simple to reach and to the point. Perfect for little ones.

I ordered this book for my kindergarten class. We were doing a unit on farms and the jobs that people do on farms. The kids loved the pictures.

I bought this when I needed a related book for my preschool lesson. The kids will like it if its a new book but its honestly not that exciting. I wasnt that interested in reading it too many time but it did the job for my lesson!

Good book for my Granddaughter. In good conditon.

This book is ideal for the 4-6 age group of children who are curious about where their food supply comes from and the responsible people who take care of their land, animals, and crops.

This book is wonderful for teaching urban children about the life of a farmer. The illustrations are photos and well photographed.
