Bought this handy little tool son the advice of Chinese cookbook author Grace Young and am quite impressed.It is a great tool for quickly and easily turning carrots (and other firm vegetables) into thin strips that are perfect for use in lo mein or chow mein stir fries. I love it!!

Blade susceptible to damage

Awesome easy to use exactly what I wanted, I made some carrot and zucchini with angel hair pasta and brown butter sauce! Great dinner for 2!

Actually I love everything about this ! Will probably buy in the future as gifts.

The instructions go on for several paragraphs in kanji but there is no English translation. There are a few tiny pictures which demonstrate the technique, which is not complicated. The box cover illustration is for radish strips, but my test was on cucumber and carrot. Simple and quick, and the cutter just rinses clean easily under the faucet. This is great for small amounts of veggie strips. The handle is solid and everything seems well constructed. Cutting edges are sharp, so it should be stored carefully as there is no protective cover.

Best way to Julian vegetables.Great product.
