Great Quality, Great Price
The higher resolution the better picture you get. This is important if you ever want to be able to zoom in and see a face or read a plate. If your image is distorted you can't really use your video for police evidence. I suggest getting nothing less than 5 MP cameras to do this job. Don't go with this cheapest 720p resolution camera when buying a security system because you will regret it as soon as you look at your cameras or try to look through playback. I have seen no other 5MP camera at this price point and have been using this for months with no issues. I watch my cameras from an app and night vision helps me keep an eye on things at all times.Another advantage here is being able to run 1 cable per camera instead of video and power. Smart features in other cameras like Ring, Nest, etc, have a monthly charge and the cameras are a lot more expensive. If you want a good system at a great price, go with this system.

Good Cameras. Good Value for the Money. Software is horrible.
The setup on this item was easy enough. Very straightforward. All needed parts were present. Don't use the screws it came with, they break easily. Use something better. If you're hanging outside, use something that can withstand moisture. The picture quality during the day is high quality. The night vision camera a little less so, but still perfectly acceptable. This thing fails on software however. The web interface it provides is very rudimentary. A lot of configuration can't be done through it, which means I'm forced to use the head unit itself. In addition, the web interface requires Flash to stream videos. Flash is dead, to be deprecated in most browsers, Chromium based ones for sure. This should be replaced soon, or it will simply stop working. The NVR software is a bit clunky to navigate, although, once you set it up the first time, you shouldn't have to fiddle with it much.Except for one pretty big problem. The alert sensitivity settings don't work AT ALL. It has a range of 0 to 100. However, it might as well be 0 or 1 (on or off).I've turned down to the lowest settings and still get blasted with notifications.Pretty disappointing in that regard, as half the reason I got was to be able to alert for motion in specific areas. You can select areas to monitor, but it seems like the software doesn't really respect those regions. Anything it sees, it alerts on.Oh well, you get what you pay for.

Does not worth it
pros:1. picture quality is somewhat at or below average for the price rangecons:1. recording frame rate is 15fps which makes fast moving objects jumpy.2. the included cables with the system are Copper Clad Aluminum/Copper Clad Alloy (CCA) construction. so i had to buy an outdoor weather resistant CAT6 reel with pure bare copper core.3. customer service does not exist. the only way to communicate with the seller is through a Hotmail email account that does NOT reply.4. if you try to access the system interface by using it's designated IP address you will get an error code with no explanation or manual to follow as shown in the provided snapshot (the manual is utterly useless).5. the company does not have its own mobile app but rather recommend generic ones that does a poor job and access your phone unrelated resources such as contacts, camera, location,.. etci wish i had purchased American made product instead of profiting junk manufacturers. such a waste of money, efforts and time.

Nice camera system
Overall, this is a very nice camera system. The cameras work very well, both in the day and night. The only bad part about the entire system is setup. It's not extremely difficult, but the directions are obviously written by someone that doesn't speak very good English. Once in the OS, you really have to play around to set things up. The system does Not have it's own App like some big companies have. They use a generic App like IPPRO or ESEECloud, which aren't bad apps. The hardest part about setting up this entire system is running the wires, which is a downside to having a wired system, but can't be jammed like WIFI cameras. My neighbor has Arlo and has been jammed multiple times by a $10 part available on this site. Also, my advice is to take the front cover off the camera, the picture is Much clearer at night without the cover as mentioned by other users.

POE is the most reliable
System is very easy to setup, the quality of the image is very good, POE is very convenient, will recommend this system to any body,i had some problems with the image during night time but together with customer service we find out that there is a big improvement removing the plastic cover at front of the camera, it have a slot at the bottom and just pry it off ( Take off the decorative slice.(It won't affect its waterproofness ) , i like how it look with out it

Cameras good app bad
This system is good. The app doesn’t work. I can access video from the tv but cannot from any other device. My intention when purchasing this product was so I could monitor from my phone and iPad. Had I researched the app I would have never purchased this system.

Good value for the money, easy to install.
The system is very easy to set up, and the company provides quick response to technical questions. I installed 6 cameras and put a hard drive in the system, in about 6 hours. The nvr interface takes a few try’s to get used to but then it’s very easy to work. The POE cameras make installation a breeze, because you don’t have to worry about figuring out out how to power the camera in the ideal location.

Camera went bad in the first week
I installed the cameras and got it working. The following week the camera started to loss connection and shut off. The quality of the camera looks and feel cheap. Dont buy!
