The photo shows a complete outfit ready to carry your bottle. I purchased it by looking at the photo. This does not come with a cage to hold your water bottle. I do not see the cage for sale that is shown. So I will not end up with a matching brand. I do not have any problem with the unit other than what you see is not actually what you get. They should change this ad to read NOTE: No Cage provided. Photo of cage is for how it will look after you buy the cage.

I guess I should have been more concerned with the measurements of this item.It doesn't fit any of my bikes. Anywhere.A Trek and a Schwinn. Not on the seat post, or the handlebars, or on any of the frame members.It fits on the main crossbar of another bike but what good is that?Too big for any normal bike.If it were to fit on a bike it is well made and would be great.

This device was perfect for my bike and for me. I had to switch to an upright “comfort” bike due to a back injury. I found it difficult to reach down to the bottle cage mounted on the frame, so now I have the cage mounted to the front of my handlebar. I have no difficulty reaching the water bottle now.The device is very well made and mounted perfectly.

Nice option for bikes without built in mounts or those wanting a different mounting position
