At first I could not get it to stick to floor and was disappointed with it. Later it stuck to the floor great and I like it a lot better than when I had to stand on it with the other foot. Probably user error - not sure why first couple of week frustration and now it is great. Same shower - same floor

Yes, it does smell strong when you first open it, but this thing actually does its job quite well. I got mild frostbite several months ago, and I have had severe nerve pain from it in my feet that has not gone away. It was especially bad when I would shower. This little device must really improve circulation, because I can finally shower without my feet going numb! One other thing to note, it will not stick to the floor of a shower that is textured -- at all -- I had to put mine up on the shower shelf, which wasn't a huge deal to me, but I know that could be frustrating to some.

This does just what I need. The smell from the silicone when you unpackage it is a little overwhelming. I immediately put mine in a mesh lingere bag and threw it in the washer with a load of towels and washed it on hot. After that, the smell was gone. It is the perfect foot scrubbie now. I put it near the shower drain and soap it up so the soap doesn't make the rest of the shower floor slick. After use, I rinse it with hot water and stick it to the shower wall to drain and dry.

This mat is just the right size for our shower. It is perfect for one of us but not for the one of us who has very sensitive feet. It tends to be prickly on her sensitive feet. Also, when we opened the package, the smell that came off of the foot scrubber was as if it had been packaged with a skunk! After several scrubbings with the following, hand soap (which didn't work) and then Pine Sol. Sat it out in the sun to dry and that seemed to do the trick.

Love this scrubber but even though I read the reviews regarding the smell before purchasing I was quite put off by the chemical smell when I opened the package. I washed (and soaked) immediately after receipt. Now, about 3 weeks of daily shower use, I can only detect the smell when I get tt close to my nose, hopefully, it will dissipate completely sometime soon. I would recommend that the seller do something to off-gas the product before sending out.

For those whom have difficulty reaching their feet - and even for those who don't - this little mat helps. Also gives a nice little massage, and does not slip ot slide in a wet tub.

Due to a recent disability (from surgery), I have been unable to care for my feet as I used to. So far, this has been the perfect scrubber for me! (However, I've only used it once, so there's that.)One caveat is that I did not consider the ticklishness of my feet when buying it, but I just laugh it off - literally! :D The one negative so far: I wish it had a few rows of stiffer, smaller bristles (think fingernail brush) to really get in there and scrub my toes and heels.UPDATE: Sadly, this just does not deep-clean my feet no matter how much I scrub. I am back to using a washcloth & nailbrush. :(

I thought it would be softer then it is. I use it still but not all the time.

I tried to get used to it, but it tickles so much under my foot, it is impossible.
