I've loved this book since I was a young girl. I had alway's hoped to find it and I'm happy that Amazon had this in stock for me in a wonderful condition. I hope to make many more purchases from this website in the future.

I want to hold down that one reviewer and tell her all the really ugly things about the world. Ellen Conford is wonderful and absolutely genius at writing teenage girls. If her writing shocks you it’s because you need to open your eyes. Don’t be afraid to face that darkness and stare it down. Own it. “For there your soul will grow.”

I read this, thinking that my 14 year old daughter might like it. I was wrong. Ellen Conford is a talented writer, but this book was heart wrenching. You ache for Sylvie, the main character.The things she goes through are too real and you want to see a happy ending, but there can't be because she's 15 and can't control her own destiny. Why would anyone want to read a book that makes you feel bad and has no happy ending ?
