You succeeded where all the other doctor-prescribed pharmaceutical drugs have failed.I bought this to help with my 11-year old autistic son's unmanageable behavior and sleep because risperidone was nasty. Yes, it was making him calm (suppressing his emotions), but it was lowering his seizure threshold. When I stopped giving it to him, he went into full-on rage for weeks. He also had more seizures than when he was NOT on risperidone.You might ask, isn't he on seizure meds? He used to be but I also stopped giving it to him because he was turning into a monster. It was klonazepam and the first day he took it, he attacked me and pushed our oven toaster off the counter. All these "healthcare professionals" wanted to do was keep medicating our son.Out of desperation, I tried this and lo and behold, 1) his seizures stopped; 2) he slept for 8 - 9 hours straight; and 3) he is calmer and more lucid when awake.He still has his daily angry outbursts, especially with these back and forth lockdowns, but he is a different person now. He sings, draws, colors, and actually reads his books.What I am most happy about is that this totally stopped his seizures. I did a lot of research before giving this to him and became very hopeful when I found out that valerian was the world's first anti-seizure remedy. Italian author Fabio Colonna used it to control his own seizures, and by the 1900s, valerian was widely regarded in Europe as a sedative and anti-seizure.By the way, I should say that before I gave it to our son, I tried taking 1 drop in a tiny cup of water and it gave me horrible palpitations. I couldn't sleep for about 2 hours. I tried it again the next night with the same results. I just about threw the bottle in the trash when something in me said not to. So I kept it in the fridge.Fast forward to our struggles with klonazepam and risperidone, I decided to become my own son's health advocate. I stopped giving him those 2 pharmaceutical drugs and gave him this--just 5 drops (it's potent!) in his little cup of milk every night right before bed, and he's out like a light in 30 minutes tops. He can't even tell it's there as it has a naturally sweet taste! He's been taking it for 3 months now and we're just so grateful for it.But like I said, it has a different effect on different people. It gave me tachycardia, so try a drop or two first and see how it is for you.Overall, what matters is it is working wonders for our son. I already received our second bottle. I found it calming especially after taking for a few days in a row. Does help a bit on sleep.I'll buy again.

If you have anxiety or panic attacks, this will definitely help. Great product. Worth every penny.

I tried this product and I feel it does work for me. I take it, two "squirts" of the dropper, about half hour to an hour before planning to go to bed. By the time I go to bed I'm ready to just go to sleep, no phone word games and so on, just lights out. I don't stay asleep for the entire night like I'd like to but I feel it certainly helps me fall asleep. I personally like the taste of it. I would say it tastes like a sweet, earthy date or fig.I bought this as a recommendation for a long haul flight, but I don't want to take this liquid on the plane since liquid amounts are so limited. I do use it at home and plan to utilize the entire bottle. The only minus is the dropper tends to make a mess and the liquid is a bit sticky. Also the price, in my opinion, is pretty steep.

This is Frankie, He's not had a hard life at all came from a good home and was spoiled as a puppy. Once he went through dog puberty though Frankies whole demeanor changed. He became a super anxious dog and barely sat with us or let us love on him. He would bark at dust if he knew it was there. Well my grandma who use to be a herbalist would sell people Valerian root for sleep. My original plan was to use the drops as a sorta sedative on Frankie to get him to a vet because he's also terrified of cars and other people. What i didn't know but now do thanks to your bottles and research Is that it solves a lot more than sleep. And it doesn't just work on humans. We will give Frankie a single drop twice daily and its helped so much, hes loving now, doesnt bark so much, and isn't so anxious. I must say we didn't know what to do till we rediscovered Valerian root and this amazing product. For anyone else seeking help with dog aniexty and stress, the dosage for dogs is one drop per 10 pounds. The one time I tried it myself I got the best night sleep I had in a long time. Good herb and drops no doubt, you must try it.

This had no effect. No sleepiness whatsoever.It tasted unpleasant but would be ok if it worked. They won’t take it back so they do not live up to the guarantee on the label.

Just received this today, and this is my first time trying Valerian Root for calming my brain and for insomnia. I am very sensitive with any product, so I measured 2 ml, which is approximately 1 full dropper that it arrived in, or 2 small droppers (2ml).I did not fully finish the 2ml, and it hit me within minutes of drinking. I felt my eyes relax, and my vision was slightly blurred, as we all can get if very relaxed. SIGHI felt my arms and hands tingle, similar to klonopin or Valium. (It is the exact same feeling, so do not drive after taking this similar to Valium, which is what I was given for LASIK)It is very potent, it feels like Klonopin Teva, and my eyes feel very moist.I am looking forward to enjoying sleep again, as melatonin was just too strong for me, (3mg) and Melatonin was not a relaxing sleep. I don’t know 100% yet, as my EEG is soon with a neurologist, however I am treating myself for Epilepsy and possibly narcolepsy/nocturnal seizures.I only take vitamins, and starting a holistic approach since my K-pin teva (anti convulsant) was removed over a year ago. I have absence seizures, faint spells, migraines, etc if I don’t eat perfectly.I had meningitis 27 years ago, struggle with a lot of brain trauma, multiple head injuries, falls, which I am getting a lot back and love it.Thank you so much to whoever made this amazing bottle. There's nothing wrong with the liquid itself, as far as I can tell; it works fine adding it to an herbal tea. A little sweet, but the valerian taste and smell isn't overpowering.My main qualm is with the bottle. The bulb and the dropper tube separated from the cap, which has made using it a sticky challenge. It's annoying enough that I'm not planning to take a risk on another bottle.
