3D Printer Resin SparkMaker SLA UV-Curing Resin with High Precision 405nm Photopolymer Resin for LCD 3D Printing – White

Perhaps this is worth 5 stars, but I’m new to resin printing and I’ve only used SparkMaker resin. This seems to cure a lot slower than the LCD-BG on the initial print, or at least it seems a lot softer.That said, even for this bigger print, with the LCD-BG I’ve been post-curing smaller prints for about 30 minutes or so which seems about perfect. So I thought this bigger one should be safe to start at ~45 minutes. However, you can see where it started to yellow in the photo compared to the pure white you’d expect that it came off the printer as. Clearly my fault of course.Only other thing I’ll add is that the first 3 prints with this resin failed pretty miserably using the recommended settings for the LCD-BW from the SparkMaker manual and website, so per community suggestions, I nearly doubled the exposure time (also used 300s for 10 base layers), slowed down the lift times a bit, and used a metal file to rough up the build plate to help it stick. Worked like a charm. Since I didn’t have this sort of trouble with the LCD-BG and upping the exposure/lift times fixed the problem with this LCD-BW, I’m assuming that the latter actually cures a bit slower initially despite what the SparkMaker manuals say.Side note: this bottle came with a rubber ring to cover the seam game between the lid and bottle on the outside, a small feature which is nice as resin tends to seep down into that gap and be exposed. The LCD-BG did not come with the same sort of ring.

No matter how I cure this resin it yellows before it is completely cured. At first I thought it was my curing lamp, as it is a strong one. But I tried curing outside on a sunny day, inside on a window sill, and even outside on a cloudy day. On a cloudy day it does not yellow near as much, so I imagine if I could find the 'Perfect' Time for curing it would minimize it.

I only have the spark maker and the settings on the software have a default option for this that works consistently. I don't have the ability to try it with other printers but for me it works fine. The gray oddly seems to do better for me but that could be an anomaly.

I purchased a few different colors and so far I hadn’t had any problems or issues! Make sure your printer is calibrated and the lcd screen is not damaged. Fep film also counts for great quality printing!

**Edit** still having trouble. Ablw to get a print or 2 out flawlessly, but it seems im having more difficulty than success. I dont have this trouble with other colors.This was an extreme love/hate relationship, one that I'm glad I stuck with.It took me several months, several heartbreaks and tons of patience to finally get this resin to work on my Longer Orange 10. Once I was able to come up with the right settings and curing times this resin has been extremely consistent.I would use it again and would recommend.
