Steamable and NOT junky (feel good after eat them).
I like to steam these, without any oil, instead of pan fry or oven fry. They come out like flat little tamales! And feel so clean to eat. They do get a little sticky when you steam them, so consider putting them on a little parchment paper. Yes, still frozen. Then just put them on a veggie steamer. After 15-20 minutes, lift out and cool for a minute, and they will stop being sticky. You can eat them with a fork, or just pick up and munch. They would be fun to dip in something, but they're so good plain, I've never gotten that far.So good!! At first I was irritated at the black beans being smashed, not whole, but you start to appreciate them that way!

All Stems from horrible packaging.
First, both packages inside had the pupusa’s completely stuck together, something that a simple piece parchment paper could prevent, but no matter what you do to unstick these prior to completely heating them up, it won’t work. So, after you have hot oil on your hands (which I don’t endorse) holding these against yourself completely messing up your shirt with corn tortilla in your second and final attempt trying to rip them apart, before throwing them in the trash, they might actually split apart. To make these somewhat decent, you need to add twice as much oil as recommended. Then, they will likely still fall apart. Complete an utter joke of a meal. I ended up making a mush scramble of the two that would not come apart. Never again. The end.

Breakfast every morning
These things are awesome and one of the only breakfast foods my picky kiddo will eat that has protein to it. Easy to cook in the toaster. Gluten free. Wish we could buy it by the case. :)

Quick, easy, and vegan dinner for lazy girls like me!
These are so tasty and a perfect quick dinner for when you don’t feel like getting a bunch of pots and pans dirty and cutting up vegetables! They are vegan and taste amazing with avocado and Sriracha on top.

I always have a box in the freezer
Super easy to heat up. Sometimes I cook some “fake chorizo”with potatoes and put them on top of the papusas and have a bed of arugula or spinach. It’s delicious!

Not edible
I’m not sure if I got a bad batch but we couldn’t even choke these down, they were pretty horrible, even when you topped them with salsa and tried to cover the flavor...

Expensive, but my daughter demands them.
I do it like the price, but I guess you get what you pay for. Can definitely do without them but my 14year old cannot lol . Cute packaging too.
