At this price, nothing comes close.
I'm quite picky when it comes to socks. I normally pay $25-40 for quality wool socks, but I decided to give these a try due to the advertised properties of the Coolmax fabric. Life is too short to wear cotton or cheap synthetic fiber socks, folks. Those socks are bad for a number of reasons. When moisture isn't wicked away from your feet, your shoes quickly get the jungle rot causing them to stink and fail prematurely. In the mean time your feet will be hot in the summer and cold in the winter.I wear size 9 shoe and these fit me perfectly as the heel goes exactly where it belongs and there's absolutely no bunching or wrinkling anywhere and you can't feel the seams. They pull up comfortably just below my calf muscle, or a true crew length. Normally I prefer OTC socks because I can't stand pulling socks up all day nor can I tolerate socks that squeeze my legs like a tube of toothpaste. Although these are crew length, they seem to have just the right amount of tension to stay up all day long, but not wear on your leg like a vise. Time will tell if they remain that way, but so far so good. As far as the wicking performance goes, I'd rate these right up with my best high content wool dress socks. The Coolmax fabric does exactly what it says it does. At the end of the day my feet are nice and dry. The material is also softer and more luxurious feeling than any far more expensive merino wool socks I own. They actually feel almost as good as cashmere.I can't really say much about the wear performance because I haven't had them long enough. What I can say is the material looks extremely durable. The thickness of the socks is perfect for my tastes. They are just a tad thicker than most dress socks, but not so thick they will present any problems getting on my well fitting dress shoes. The seams are very high quality, strong, yet hardly noticeable. The colors are exactly as pictured with a deep navy blue and bright white stripes. I noticed little to no discernible shrinkage after the first wash. I always wash my socks inside out on a gentle cycle, cold water, with only liquid detergent, and then hang them to dry. I recommend doing the same or following whatever the manufacturer recommendations are. I fully expect these socks to last a long time with the proper care.My only real complaint is they aren't offered in different colors and patterns and there's only the crew length option. Still I'm going to buy a couple more pair. I think you would have trouble finding better socks at much higher prices and believe me I have tried. I like them better than the $17 Pantherella merino wool blend crew socks which are the next best thing. I'm not a big fan of "one size fits all" socks because in my experience they never do. But in my case these fit perfectly.

Four Stars
I like them, but do not believe they are worth the $15 I paid for them. Way too much.

Not bulletproof by a long shot
Lasted about a month before a hole appeared in the toe just above the reinforced area. Don't waste your money.

Unimpressed and disappointed. Bulletproof and anti-tear
Unimpressed and disappointed. Bulletproof and anti-tear? Ok great, wasn't why I bought them. The issue I have is that the breath-ability of these socks is questionable. This summer in North Carolina has been HOT, and that's an understatement. I would say 75%+ of the days in July and August have been above 90 degrees (F). I'm in the office most of the day but still need a pair of breathable socks. I thought these would do the trick (especially considering the price). Negative. I don't have a foot odor problem but you might think so after wearing these. Not a fan.

Seem very good
Hopefully durable. They look like something from a cartoon but that is OK. They are comfortable.

Very nice quality socks, great for working hard
These are very nice thick quality socks. I purchased them for my husband, he works very hard and sweats a lot. They seem to keep his feet pretty dry. They are holding up super well against wearing and washing, which is super nice. They are thick in quality, which makes them not quite as stretchy as I feel a sock should be, which is why I gave 4 stars. They do seem very high quality though, and my husband has really been enjoying them so far. I have washed them several times and they are holding up great, no holes or tears, or fading. The color is very dark and vibrant dark navy blue. I would recommend trying them out!I received this item at a discounted rate for my honest review.

Bulletproof, but Definitely Not Durable
Nice comfy socks; however only the second time through the washer and dryer (both washes on low-temperature, gentle cycles) the socks have threads jetting out all across the bottoms.* individual sock pics: after first wash; the paired pic immediately followed the second washing.

Great Product! Caution
Great Product! Caution, they are not bullet proof with high caliber rifles! Perhaps you all will have better luck with handgun rounds...Cant wait for more designs!
