tinyRigs Osmo Pocket Accessory Mount Vlogging Cage with GoPro or Cold Shoe Quick Release

Very poor quality and they know it. The Screws they use to secure the quick release head to the mount is too small and will break apart under the weight of the osmo pocket. . To fix the issue they should have included a longer screw. I emailed it about them, their response was this. "We found out that in US, that happens a lot since male user turn with a great force. " I thought that was funny because they must think im the hulk. They also said " We did think of making a new model to a) either making the screw longer and have a metal cap on the end b) change the mould to allow a metal cap as thread. Either way require change of mold. Since it is at the end of the product Cycle for OP, - we opted not to.The workaround I found was just using a longer and a little larger screw. I also glued them permanently together using some E6000 glue. Its not a great solution, but im stuck with this poorly made product, might as well try to modify to be safe to use with my Osmo pocket.

The gopro mount broke on tbe first use.It's only secured with a tiny eyeglass hing sized screw and almost destroyed my Osmo Pocket.I modified the mount bonding the two piece mount with a #2-56 screw and nut witch was in stalled with loctite. If you are not handy with improvement modification and don't want to take a chance of you Osmo Pocket crashing. I would not use the gopro type mount adapter.. The holder case adds a lot of volume and weight over the original. But it is nice that it can contain the WiFi adapter with the Osmo Pocket

I got it and after 2 days of use the go pro mount is broken, i didn't use it hard tho, at the beginning i love it but the quality is disappointment. How is going to break so easy?

This product name is intimidating. I don’t vlog but I like to attach mic to my Osmo pocket. This is just the refined version of the DJI Go Pro Mount that allows me to put my controller wheel. The best part is the quick release.

The cage is very small. Almost doesn’t feel it it on it.

We didn’t know if we need this, but we don’t regret getting it. It is so small. We can put it in the case, and the quickie head, we leave it on the selfie stick. Now I have two small things in my purse, and when we need to do selfie, we just attach the selfie stick onto the osmo pocket in less than a second. When we don’t want the selfie stick, it distached and stay neatly in my purse.

When attached without any accessory, it feel like it is a part of the Osmo pocket. When you need to attach accessory, it is insta fast.
