The nation of Bangladesh is prey to every threat from water known to man. WATER WARS: When Drought, Flood and Greed Collide tells the story of this land at war with not only rising seas, but devastating floods and droughts -- from India's dams dumping their excess in the wet season and siphoning off river water in the dry season. And as Bangladesh sees less and less river water during the dry season, it is forced to dig deeper for more wells, encountering arsenic poisoning that is filling hospitals and graveyards.

Incredibly well done
Focused mostly on water shortage in Bangladesh, mainly caused by global warming and India. Showed how significant dams are in worsening and causing both flooding and drought and how, surrounded by India, Bangladesh is at India's mercy.

What a shock!
This film should be seen by all students and if we had a free press it would be on front page news. It is critically important to know that our God given water is the newest GOLD to corporations, who unlike most individuals. do not have a moral compass. We need to be alarmed and fight for our water and for the vulnerable who are being robbed of their resources at warp speed. We are all in this life together and it is heart breaking how it is being stolen by the greedy,

Water wars is revealing
I found Water Wars to be very informative. I had no idea that India has so much control over the water that flows through Bangladesh and that they are diverting it to build dams and hydro-electric plants to sell the electricity to other countries. I agree...water is not just the next battlefield. The war has already begun. Very educational.

The next crises certainly a coming crises
A really good overview of the current an potential situations. I can see it everywhere and especially in the Rocky Mountain area where most of the fresh water in the US comes from. Drought, climate change, and now fracking will push Midwest farmers to extinction.
