Worked perfectly - permanently dry within 3 weeks
Wish I’d bought this sooner, as it really does work. We were in the clear within 3 weeks of using it!As recommended by other reviewers, our daughter wore nappies over pants when using the alarm. She was able to quickly form the association between the feeling of releasing her bladder and the alarm sounding. After 1 or 2 alarms sounding, she was waking and getting to the loo before we got to her room, and all without a single bed clean-up for us!By week 3, she was holding her bladder for the whole night or getting to the loo independently. We stopped using the alarm and nappies then and haven’t had a single accident since. The clip can be a little awkward / fiddly to attach, but it didn’t seem to bother my daughter much at all. And from my perspective, it’s definitely worth overlooking a little bit of annoyance for the brilliant functionality of this item.

Life changing!
Don’t even think about it, just buy! This has been life changing for us. We had tried everything to get my 7 year old son dry at night but nothing worked. We got some regular pants and clipped the sensor on the inside at the front and put some pull ups over them. Important to use pants as otherwise the sensor won’t detect the urine as it is absorbed into the pull ups. I initially slept with my son for a few days and we would go to the toilet as soon as the sensor went off, often mid wee. The first few weeks were tough and it’s like the newborn stage again but after two weeks we only had one wet night a week and now we are on ten days completely dry!!! My son doesn’t get up in the night to go for a week so I guess his brain has just learnt that you don’t wee in the night. My son is so proud of himself and we are soon to stop using it as I think he has cracked it. I think I may never have to buy pull ups again! It comes with a little sticker chart which is great for motivation! Excellent value for money, and my son was not bothered about using it at all and has said that he doesn’t feel it when sleeping.

Works amazingly well!!
I tend to put off doing reviews and then forget to do them but I really feel like this product deserves some major kudos!Bought for my son (4;3) who was getting increasingly frustrated and upset about wearing pull ups at night because his little sister had stopped needing them. We were also having issues with him weeing out of the pull ups on a regular basis. He has been dry in the day since he was 19 months. We tried various methods without success, as he sleeps very deeply and didn't seem to have awareness of when he was going. So glad we tried this...the alarm went off a couple of times a night for the first week but he would wake and hold on until he was at the toilet. Week 2, the alarm only went off once all week, otherwise completely dry. Weeks 3 and 4, completely dry.Amazing product and does what it aims to. Only negative is that my son found the quietest setting too loud so we taped some cotton wool over the speaker to muffle it slightly.Would definitely recommend!

Absolute game changer!
Purchased this after reading the reviews from other parents and just wish we'd bought it much sooner! This alarm is an absolute game changer. Our 7 year old was not waking and so wetting most nights (and sometimes twice per night). He's used the alarm for the last three weeks and is now on his 8th dry night in a row. Worth every penny!

It worked - but you have to be committed parents!
My daughter was exactly 6.5 years when we started using this. I had ridiculously high expectations and thought it would take a week or two. It took five weeks before we noticed any real improvement, and then she rapidly improved from there. But those first five weeks created sleep deprivation similar to living with a newborn. The alarm would go off 3 times a night - around 9.30 pm, 10.30 pm and 2.30 am. My daughter would be completely asleep and her bed mat was soaked. Even waking her was tough, and the alarm is loud. Interestingly, it didn't wake up our 4 year old who was sleeping on the top of the bunk bed, so I do wonder if the alarm is really to get our attention! I was really despairing by the end of week 4, and I was knackered! But we kept going. And then in week 6, like a miracle, she started to wake herself up or she would wake up to the alarm and turn it off. And then she regressed for half a week (sob!). And then she started sleeping through without an accident. In week 8, the alarm went off a couple of times but it was for the smallest of leaks. And now she is at 7 days in a row, completely dry. No more nappies. Hurrah! My top tips:1. Be realistic. Make sure you're going to be home (not on holidays) for at least 6 weeks. It's easier when it's warmer weather, too, so aim for late spring to early autumn if you can.2. Buy disposable bed mats or five bed protectors that are easily removed, replaced and washed in the morning (search: waterproof bed mat). So NOT a whole waterproof bed sheet that you have to strip off the bed.3. Clip the alarm to your child's underwear BEFORE they put them on. Much easier.4. Put another pair of underwear over the top. Rest the alarm inside. Don't bother with the transmitter device clip. My daughter sleeps in many different positions and the alarm never seemed to bother her.5. Don't try and cheat like my husband did, and wake them up for the toilet. The alarm needs to go off. You need to wake them up. They need to turn the alarm off. Then they need to walk to the toilet and go. That's what their brain is learning to do.6. You don't need to sleep next to them, but you need to be able to get to them fast. Obviously, it's easier if there are two of you, as one can be doing the toilet run while the other removes the wet bed cover and replaces it.7. Be patient. It almost certainly will work. I kept telling my daughter her brain was learning to wake her up. We never got angry or made her feel bad. The kid was fast asleep after all!Good luck :)
