The gang go to a French restaurant
Great story about Owl trying to have a nice birthday dinner at a fancy French restaurant, and if you know M,M, & O (& WWJ) you know what will happen. The French restaurant was a bit stereotypical, but not detrimental to story. There's an awesome painting of the gang on the inside cover feat. Megg high AF with no witch clothes or hat (just regular clothes), but with mustard and ketchup on her face (or is it pizza?), smoking a cigarette. Sometimes Hanselmann draws a bit *too* small, and even with my glasses I can't tell what something is. I like the sentiment of the story, that Owl thinks sophistication is going to a French eatery, but everyone else rebels against it. I showed some M & M to one of my college students who likes manga/anime and he instantly noticed how "uniform" it's drawn, which is funny considering the chaos that goes on in every story. Idk if this short story is reprinted in one of the bigger books or not or is exclusive to this printing.

Has been collected in “One More Year”.
Lots of cringe-worthy antisocial behavior from my favorite hopeless stoners. The birthday party of the perpetually conflicted Owl gets pooped. I love all of these characters so much, although I wholeheartedly agree with Dan Clowes’ remark about them: “Thank God I don’t have to deal with people like that ever again”.For those afraid they’re missing a Megg and Mogg story: this black and white story “Worst Behavior” has been collected in the book “One More Year”, but in color.

It is truthful and real and mean and sweet..
A poignant and thoughtful study on the chase for oblivion thru avoidance of responsibility and the emotion safety and strife amongst a fraternity of friendship... It is truthful and real and mean and sweet.... and it is because it rings so truthful, it is funny as hell.Great book by a great creator. He looks good in stocking.

more great MM&O from Hanselmann
If you've read Megahex, you need this. If you haven't, check out Hanselmann's Tumblr page and see if you find his work entertaining before jumping in. Equal parts stoner comedy and exploration of the internal struggles millenials face with identity, depression, and friendship. Super funny and simultaneously unreal yet true to life. Love this series to death.

If you love Megahex!
If you loved Megahex and wanted some more comic goodness then look no further! It's one story but it has a lot of charm and quite funny. I like the use of blue, it just adds to the atmosphere of the story. I can't wait for the next book!

Another Great Release By Simon Hanselman
Good book. Well written story and nicely drawn. It's got The Simon Hanselmanneque mix of humour and sadness. A truly original and skilled creator in my opinion.
